In a press release sent to The Blast, Reese and her sneaker partner, Reebok, will be releasing the fourth colorway of the "AR1" in October 2025. The new design features a black and purple upper, and according to Reese, it is supposed to represent the city that provided her with the skill to become an unstoppable force on the hardwood. The shoe also tells Reese's story of dreaming big and achieving any goal.

“This one’s for Charm City, to honor my roots and the community of Baltimore that has backed me from day one,” said Reese. “This city gave me my grit and made me who I am today.”

Raised in Baltimore, Reese explained that her hometown helped influence her game on the hardwood and also instilled in her the importance of being unapologetic.

"A fierce advocate for celebrating the city that built her, Reese pays tribute to Baltimore, where she went from a kid with a dream to a cultural phenom redefining what it means to be an athlete," the press release read.

And this isn't the first time Reese, star of the Chicago Sky, has spoken out about her love for her hometown. During the 2024 WNBA draft, where the 6'3" power forward was selected 7th overall, she mentioned the Charm City then, too.

“A kid from Baltimore not supposed to be here,” she said. "I’m just happy. And my mom is here, and my brother is here. I wouldn’t be able to do it without them.”

Ahead of the Charm City launch, Reese is releasing three colorways of the "AR1" Diamond Dust, Mebounds, and Receipts Ready.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Reese's new line of sneakers not only draws inspiration from Reebok's Mobius line from the '90s, but it also features much of Reese's signature flair, seamlessly creating something fresh and new for the already iconic 23-year-old.

The three pairs' primary colors are white, pink, and black. Reese said that the "AR1," which hits Reebok and brick-and-mortar retailers on September 18th, 2025, "isn't just the launch of another signature shoe."

"It's my style, my story, and my stamp on the game," she said.

"Reebok and I built something that's true to who I am, and I hope it pushed others to stand in their power, too," she said. "At the end of the day, it's built for basketball, made to move and perform at the highest level."

The kicks come equipped with high-quality performance technology, such as the signature exoskeleton upper, which offers players premier ventilation for breathability, and Reebok's Energy Return System (ERS), placed in the forefoot, providing stability and flexibility.

The "Angel Reese 1s" also features a TPU stability cup in the heel, giving athletes traction and grip for the game's toughest plays.

Reese's signature shoe launch is only the beginning of the basketball player's working relationship with Reebok. For those unfamiliar, Reese inked an impressive name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with the athleisure brand while playing basketball at LSU.

“I am honored to be working closely with one of my longtime mentors, Shaq, along with a brand that I have admired since I was just a little kid. It means the world to me that they trust in me to extend their legacy to a new generation,” Reese said in 2023. “Together, I think we have a great opportunity to do things differently, to inspire people to explore and express themselves unapologetically, and to show them how to look and feel good while doing it.”
