Nas X's run-in with the law turned serious this week, as prosecutors stacked multiple felony charges against him after a violent clash with Los Angeles police. The star is accused of charging at officers during the late-night incident, with at least three reportedly injured in the scuffle.

Along with the assault counts, he was also booked on a separate felony for resisting an executive officer. That landed him behind bars with no bail through the weekend, leaving him to face a judge on Monday morning.

Nas X's first days in jail painted a much calmer picture than his dramatic arrest. The Blast reported that after being booked into custody, officers described his time behind bars as uneventful.

The police shared that the 26-year-old stayed quiet and avoided drawing attention to himself. There were no signs of trouble, and he made no attempts to put on a show for others in the pre-arraignment holding area, where detainees usually wait for their first court appearance.

It was reported that jail amenities were minimal but available. Things like a small selection of books, Bibles, basic board games, and televisions tuned to local stations. While far from luxury, they offer some form of distraction.

Nas's arrest turned even more serious when he was hospitalized following the chaotic late-night scene. The Blast noted that police had to restrain him before medical teams stepped in.

Paramedics were said to have suspected a possible overdose and rushed Nas to a nearby hospital for treatment. The hospitalization left fans deeply concerned about his health, especially given his past struggles.

Back in 2020, he opened up in a Variety interview about relying heavily on marijuana during one of the most challenging stretches of his career. At the time, he called it "scary," confessing that the period left him anxious and fearful for his health.

If the judge denies bail, Lil Nas X's wild weekend could mark the beginning of his toughest battle yet.
