Former "Grace Under Fire" star Brett Butler is once again fighting to avoid being homeless and is thanking fans and friends for support during a very tough time in her life. Brett has exhausted all of her resources and the stress of looming eviction is straining her mentally and physically," her friend Lon Strickler wrote after setting up the GoFundMe campaign.

My deepest thanks to everyone who's responding to this with such kindness and generosity. My gratitude is unbounded - especially to my friend Lon for his stalwart support," a message from Butler read on her GoFundMe.

"To those who've sent amazingly encouraging messages - friends and strangers - bless you. Whether you've left your contact info with Lon or in private messages, I'll reply to all as soon as possible.

And for those who have 'mixed feelings' - at best - about this particular GoFundMe, let's just say...we get it. (This wasn't exactly on our bucket list, either.)"
