When tourists come to Los Angeles, one of the biggest attractions that they want to see are the Walk Of Fame stars, in Hollywood. This area features legends being honored such as Michael Jackson, Hugh Hefner, and more. The list of names are already being set up for 2022, and these celebrities are very huge fan-favorites, that are definitely deserving of this remarkable honor in Los Angeles next year. ABC 7in LA initially broke down the list of names, who will be enshrined.

Nipsey Hussle, MBJ, And DJ Khaled Are Among The Stars Set To Be Honored

ABC 7reported that some of the names set for this 2022 Hollywood Walk Of Fame honor are Michael B. Jordan, the Black Eyed Peas, DJ Khaled, Ashanti, the late Nipsey Hussle, and more. These are some of the biggest names in the music category for the 2022 induction. For television, we will see Tracee Ellis Ross, Kenan Thompson, Peter Krause, Jean Smart, and more. From the sports world, Michael Strahan, a pro football hall of famer, is also included.

Nipsey Was Killed In 2019

Back on March 31, 2019, the music industry lost one of its biggest stars, especially in hip-hop. This was Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically shot and killed in front of his The Marathon Clothing store, in his hometown of Los Angeles. The alleged suspect is Eric Holder, who allegedly got into an argument with Nipsey outside of the store, about Nipsey supposedly calling him a snitch. Holder then went into his own car, to retrieve a gun, and use it on Nipsey.

Nipsey Has Received Plenty Of Posthumous Awards

Nipsey has been honored in various ways, over the course of the two years since his death. In January 2020, he finally won his first GRAMMYs. These awards were for Best Rap Performance, for his "Racks In The Middle" single featuring Roddy Ricch, as well as Best Melodic Rap Performance. That was for Nipsey's appearance on DJ Khaled's "Higher" song in 2019, which also included John Legend. In 2019, Nipsey also won the Humanitarian Award at the BET Awards.

As for DJ Khaled, he's always been one of the most iconic figures in the music industry. He's had plenty of number one albums and hit singles, with the latest project being his "KHALED KHALED" album, this past April. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and was led by the hit singles, "Popstar" and "Greece," featuring Drake. Additional appearances included Lil Durk, Lil Baby, John Legend, H.E.R., Migos, Meek Mill, Nas, Jay Z, and more.
