Taylor Swift's new album cover has sparked mixed reactions online, with some criticizing its risqué look.
The singer unveiled cover art featuring her in fishnets with her derriere on display to promote the Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection, a look even more seductive than the version revealed at the album's announcement.
While many fans praised the bold look, some critics accused Taylor Swift of trying too hard to be seen as a "sex symbol."

Some were even more blunt, calling the look "obscene and indecent," which referenced how the singer not only struck a sultry pose but also displayed her derriere in fishnet tights paired with a sequined bodysuit.
Another user offered a different angle to the look, theorizing Swift opted for something seductive to boost sales.
"The more you strip, the more you sell," the individual wrote on X, replying to a post about the upcoming album.
Some Fans Praised Taylor Swift Over The New Album Art

Amid the criticism, some fans praised Swift's confidence in releasing such a bold image for her album.
"Taylor isn't dropping an album, she's dropping a bomb. The industry is trembling," a user hyped.
"WHY WAS THIS NOT THE OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER?" an impressed fan asked.
Some of those who had followed Swift's mysterious countdown and hoped it was meant to announce a single also showed appreciation for the imagery.
"If a photo like this existed of me, i too would make it a separate post with its own countdown and my profile pic," a user said.
"If i looked this hot in a photo, i too would create a 4-hour mysterious countdown just to share it," another individual commented.
"We wanted a single but you served so its a win," one more person penned about the image.
The New Vinyl Collection Sold Out Within An Hour

Many fans also shared snapshots showing they had purchased the limited-edition vinyl, which was available for only 48 hours.
Interestingly, within just an hour of its release on Swift's website, the collection sold out completely, per reports.
The vinyl was released in two distinct marbled shades, one following the album's signature green theme but dubbed "wintergreen & onyx." The other was offered in an eye-catching "violet shimmer" finish.
Those who managed to secure a copy will receive more than just the music, as Swift added several special extras for her fans.
These include an unreleased poem described on the singer's site as "a unique Shiny Bug edition poem written by Taylor."
Also added were "four unique photos" and album sleeves containing "never-before-seen" images and lyrics from the pop star.
