Saweetie Announces Winners Of Tesla Giveaway On FaceTime

A few months ago, Saweetie released her new "Best Friend" single, which featured Doja Cat. This record ended up being an instant success, as it featured two of the hottest artists in the industry. Bet Friend went on to peak at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is currently certified platinum in the US. At the time of the single's release, Saweetie began a "Bestie In A Tessie" giveaway, where she would be giving out Teslas to selected fans.
Sawetie Was Accused Of Scamming Fans With This Giveaway

Over a week ago, Saweetie took to social media to shut down accusers who believed that this giveaway was a scam. This happened after winners supposedly never received their Teslas. The Bay Area rapper ended up explaining how one of the winners was too underage to claim the car, and the other winner simply didn't respond to her message about the win. From that point, additional winners had to be found and now, this is official, as Saweetie made the announcement on Instagram.

Saweetie ended up revealing the winners of the "Bestie In A Tessie" giveaway on Tuesday evening, as she definitely had fun with this. She decided to have video chats with the winners, as the fans definitely seemed ecstatic and surprised. One man revealed that he wanted to give this Tesla to his 16-year-old son, who is a big fan of the car. Another winner said that she went as far as putting in 2,000 submissions for this giveaway, and it did pay off.
Saweetie's Debut Album Is Expected To Be Out This Year

Saweetie definitely has a lot of momentum right now, especially with her music. Back in April, she put out the 'Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1' EP, which contained the "Risky" single featuring fellow California rapper, Drakeo The Ruler.Saweetie's long-awaited debut studio album, "Pretty B*tch Music," is also rumored to be out at some point in 2021. The last solo project she released was her "ICY" EP, back in 2019. That contained Saweetie's breakout hit single, "My Type."

Saweetie also trended hevaily on social media back in mid-March, as this was due to her public breakup with Migos rapper, Quavo. She explained on Twitter how she felt hurt and betrayed, and even cheated on. Quavo ended up trying to claim that Saweetie wasn't the woman he thought she was, all while wishing her the best.
