A Las Vegas crowd thought they were watching "Baby" hitmaker Justin Bieber when a look-alike stormed the stage at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Encore, only to learn later the star they cheered for was not the original.

The Vegas impersonation adds to a history of Bieber doubles that have made headlines over the years, including a 2017 impersonator who used the singer's likeness to commit crimes.

Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, was caught off guard last year after spotting a viral TikTok of her husband's doppelgänger.

Fake Justin Bieber Tricks Vegas Crowd With Nightclub Performance

Las Vegas has seen its fair share of wild nights, but this one might take the cake. A Justin Bieber look-alike managed to fool hundreds of people, even convincing a nightclub to let him perform.

Clips shared on the Instagram page 'raisedinvegas' show the imposter taking the stage at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn Encore, performing in front of a packed crowd who cheered him on as if he were the real thing.

The fake Bieber did not stop there. After leaving the venue, he was spotted taking photos with fans, while others filmed him, still convinced they had just met the global superstar.

The comments section lit up with reactions. "Someone said Temu Justin," one person joked. Another pointed out, "Like, why would Bieber be at the OUTLETS?"

The Vegas Impersonation Could Lead To Firings And Lawsuits

The wild stunt in Las Vegas is spiraling into something much bigger after Bieber's lookalike managed to fool crowds. A TikTok video breaking down the situation claims the fallout could be severe.

The clip pointed out that people have already been fired over the incident, and more staff at the Wynn Encore's XS Nightclub may be on the chopping block.

The poster went on to say that "lawsuits are going to happen" since people paid a significant amount of money for tables under the impression that Bieber himself would be performing.

"Someone got fired today, and probably a lot more people are going to get fired," the user explained, adding that some guests dropped a lot of money expecting to see the superstar.

The Wynn is reportedly frustrated after having to comp large amounts of money once it became clear the actual Bieber was never in the building. "A lot of people were falsely advertised that Justin Bieber was going to be there, so there was a lot of money spent on tables based off that," the video noted.

One Of Bieber's Lookalikes Was Jailed For Exploiting Schoolgirls Online

While the recent Las Vegas fiasco is making headlines for its chaos, this is not the first time a Bieber impersonator has caused severe damage.

Back in 2017, theBBC reported that a man pretending to be Bieber online was sentenced to 15 years behind bars after using the father-of-one's likeness to target young girls.

The offender, 30-year-old Yohann Ramchelawon, reportedly tricked victims by creating fake social media accounts and using a photo of a teenage boy to convince them he was the pop star.

He then coerced them into sending indecent images, even threatening to expose them to friends and family if they did not comply. Some victims were forced into performing sex acts on webcam under pressure. Ramchelawon was tracked down at his Huddersfield home and arrested.

After initially denying the charges, which included sexual assault and possession of child abuse material, he switched his plea to guilty during the trial. In addition to his 15-year sentence, Ramchelawon was given an extended five-year license period and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.

Not all Bieber impersonator stories are funny or lighthearted. In 2015, the death of the dancer's lookalike, Toby Sheldon, left more questions than answers.

PEOPLE reported that Sheldon, who had spent years undergoing plastic surgeries to resemble the pop star, was found dead in a Los Angeles motel on August 21, 2015.

Officers discovered prescription drugs in the room, but no clear cause of death was determined at the time. Toxicology results were pending, and Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter explained there was no sign of foul play.

"We are unsure if it is an accident or suicide. The investigation is ongoing," Winter shared, days after Sheldon's body was discovered. A German native, Sheldon became widely known for his extensive procedures, reportedly spending over $100,000 to look like Bieber.

Even Hailey Bieber has not been immune to a convincing Bieber double. E! News reported that in September 2024, she was caught off guard after French TikToker Theo Sauss posted a video of a man on a commuter train who looked nearly identical to her husband.

The clip, set to Justin's hit "Baby," showed the mystery passenger with the same mustache, tattoos, thin-framed glasses, and haircut as the pop star. Hailey's reaction said it all. Dropping into the comments, she admitted, "I'm scared…"

Online chatter linked him to Dylan Descloss, a French Justin Bieber impersonator who runs a TikTok account dedicated to mimicking him.
