Confirmed: Sabrina Carpenter Will Feature On Taylor Swift's 'Life Of A Showgirl'

Taylor Swift is still in the news after turning a casual podcast guest spot into a history-making music moment.

Joining boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason on their “New Heights” podcast for her debut appearance, the pop icon stunned listeners by revealing the release date for her next album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Amid the excitement, the singer has revealed that the album will be released in October and feature singing sensation Sabrina Carpenter.

Since Swift announced her 12th studio album, fans have eagerly speculated which artists might feature on the highly anticipated project.

On Wednesday, the “Cruel Summer” crooner finally put the speculations to rest, as she released the track list, which revealed that Carpenter will be featured on the title track.

A spokesperson highlighted a recent Taylor Nation Instagram carousel that ended with a photo of Swift and Carpenter on The Eras Tour, notably the sole guest featured in the set.

Besides Carpenter, music icons Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez also made it to the list.

Meanwhile, Swifties are already counting down to the anticipated album’s release.

On Wednesday, the Grammy Award winner took to her Instagram page to reveal that the project will be released on October 3, 2025.

Swift also unveiled the cover art in the post, which showed her dressed in a green bedazzled one-piece featuring multiple cutouts.

The 35-year-old lay in a body of water, sternly looking at the camera.

She accessorized with silver bracelets, finishing her look with smoky eyes and signature red lips.

Other slides featured photos of Swift in fashionable outfits, including those adorned with rhinestones, feathers, and matching headpieces.

“And baby, that’s show business for you. New album, The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3,” she captioned the post.

Following the big announcement, Swift went into full-blown promotion mode with a series of posts.

In one of the snaps, Swift sat poised in a dazzling showgirl look, wearing a silver crystal and pearl-encrusted outfit paired with nude fishnet tights and cascading jeweled strands.

She wore a fancy headpiece that framed her face, complementing her long, flowing hair.

With bold red lips and dramatic eyeliner, she looked directly at the camera, one finger playfully near her mouth.

Another post showed the “Shake It Off” singer covered in green light. She wore a shiny outfit, hidden mainly by large, soft green feathers that spread out behind her.

Swift sported short hair with straight bangs across her forehead. She leaned on the back of a chair, holding her face with both hands.

The promotional posts come shortly after Taylor Swift announced her upcoming album during her debut on the “New Heights” podcast.

An Instagram video capturing the moment showed the icon unveiling the album cover from an orange and white box with “TS” boldly written on it.

“This is my brand new album,” Swift said as the Kelce brothers screamed in excitement, with Travis adding, “We got TS 12 baby.”

Swift then revealed she worked on the project in Europe during the Eras Tour.

“I would be playing shows, I’d do like three shows in a row, I’d have three days off, I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and actually like working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour but I was so mentally stimulated and excited,” she said.

Swift’s album “The Life of a Showgirl,” is expected to mix stories of love and friendship with hints about past relationships and feuds.

“Some of the songs sound dramatic in terms of the instrumental, but the lyrical content on a few is romantic,” the source explained.
