Dove Cameron's queer come-out might have made May headlines, but the 25-year-old's fans haven't forgotten it. Amid massive drama over upcoming series "Powerpuff Girls," Dove has been updating for her 43 million Instagram followers with her usual, off-beat photo dumps, with the latest seeing the former Disney star film herself in a super-cute pink bra for some on-set selfie action. Dove's share, landing on her feed ahead of the weekend, now sees fans calling her a "queer icon." See why below.

The "We Belong" singer, ditching labels, said she was "choosing to love myself" as she admitted having been "afraid" to reveal her sexuality.
The latest post brought Dove sharing quirky indoor shots, snaps of leaves on the ground, and eventually returning for a gorgeous video selfie as she rocked hot pink underwear.

Dove, who was showing off an array of tiny gold-dangle earrings, had actually opened with a dramatic and Cleopatra-like black wig, quickly returning with her trademark blonde locks. "Break neck," the caption read, with fans also spotting a marked movie reference. Dove had shared a still from Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" movie - the 2008 flick starred Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz, and Javier Bardem.
“I’ve hinted about my sexuality for years while being afraid to spell it out for everybody,” Dove began as she spoke to Gay Times.

Cameron continued: “I went on Instagram Live and said 'Guys, I really needed to explain something to you. Maybe I haven't said it, but I'm super queer. This is something I want to represent through my music because it's who I am.'”
Saying she felt it was something she "couldn't talk about," the "Liv & Maddie" alum continued: “I feel like the industry has changed a lot in terms of having room for people with platforms to be human and not to be picked apart. I was really nervous to come out." More photos below.

Dove was with now-ex Doherty for nearly four years, posting the last photo of him in April 2020 and confirming the split actually happened in October of last year. The actress took a nonchalant stance with her reveal, adding:
“A lot of my fans have come out to me. A lot of my fans have told me that, because it's such a non-issue with me. It wasn't a big announcement. It was never something I really dove into. It was like, ‘Here I am, and here I always have been.’”
