"Vanderpump Rules" star Scheana Shay is one of the latest reality stars to author a memoir, detailing every bit of her life from childhood to becoming a Bravolebrity.

In her memoir, the mother of one also opened up about hardships she experienced that many "VPR" fans didn't know about, such as her husband, Brock Davies, cheating on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon.

After generating buzz before its release, it wasn't a huge surprise when Shay announced that her memoir, "My Good Side," had become a New York Times Bestseller. However, fans quickly cried foul over her position on the list, alleging that she tricked the system.

In a new episode of her podcast, though, Scheana Shay fired back at the claims, insisting she earned her spot fair and square.

Some Bravo Fans Believed Scheana Shay Paid To Have Her Memoir Named A New York Times Bestseller

After Shay's book officially hit bookshelves worldwide, the reality star, who joined Bravo's "Vanderpump Rules" during its first season in 2013, posted a picture on Instagram to celebrate the title reaching The New York Times Bestseller list.

Many of the 40-year-old's fans congratulated the TV personality on her recent accomplishment, reminding her that becoming a bestseller is no easy feat. On X, however, some other users felt differently, with one specifically questioning whether Shay made it to the No. 4 spot authentically.

The user's post included a screenshot of the list, noting a dagger symbol next to the title, which, according to Electric Literature, often indicates that a significant number of sales came from bulk purchases.

On her podcast, "Scheananigans," Shay opened up about the claims that she purchased her book in bulk and explained why there was a dagger next to her title on the bestseller's list.

According to Shay, her book tour, which included stops in New York, Chicago, Ohio, and D.C., involved partnering with a company that managed the book sales. Essentially, every ticket purchased for one of her live shows was bundled with a copy of the book.

Shay also touched on the dagger, stating that if a fan purchased a ticket by a specific date, they also received a copy of the book, and the company had to order the correct number for each venue. She defended her position on the NYT's Bestseller list, explaining that many publishers do the same thing.

Another explosive part of Shay's memoir that captured readers' attention was the revelation that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her with another woman when she was pregnant with their daughter.

"I remained in a state of paralyzed shock as he confessed that he'd cheated on me two years prior," she wrote before admitting Davies confessed to having sex with this woman "multiple times."

Weeks later, on a previous episode of her podcast, Davies addressed the situation and called himself a complete "coward" for his behavior.
