Hulk Hogan's Daughter Still Reeling From His Death After Skipping The Funeral

Hulk Hogan's daughter is still an emotional wreck almost three weeks after the wrestler's death.

The former WWE champion's daughter, Brooke Hogan, is still processing her father's death, and the tears are basically flowing freely.

Brooke Hogan has been estranged from Hulk Hogan for a few years, with him skipping her wedding and her asking to be removed from his will for her safety.

The 37-year-old stepped out with her family for an evening walk in Orlando, and the beautiful sunset struck a core memory that brought back the tears. 

Brooke reportedly raved about how much her dad would have loved the sunset to her husband as she strolled in a little black dress and packed her hair in a messy bun.

Despite the tension-filled relationship in the latter part of his life, the media personality and her late father shared a very close bond that Brooke still holds dear.

According to TMZ, Brooke also broke down during an interview where she explained why she had to skip her father's funeral, their feud before his death, and her decision not to partake in his will. Hulk shockingly passed away from cardiac arrest and other complications last month at his Florida home.

While the family celebrated the life of the former wrestler with a funeral service that had his wrestling colleagues in attendance, Brooke took a more intimate route. The Blast shared that the 37-year-old noted that Hulk would have preferred not to have a lavish funeral due to the "morbidity" of it.

Hence, she took her kids out to the beach in his honor and detailed her thought process in a caption on a post of how her day went. Brooke added that she placed her kids in the salty beach water, exactly how Hulk would have loved to have fun with them.

She continued that if her father were there, he would have relished the occasion on his pop-up chair, gazing at the sunset and ocean waves. The former reality star ended her caption with prayers for Hulk's soul to rest in peace and reaffirmed her undying love for the icon.

"Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you," she noted.

On her decision to remove herself from the shenanigans of her father's will, Brooke explained that her father's ties with the Church of Scientology left her in a state of concern for her security.

She affirmed her commitment to never engaging in a property war with her mother, Linda Hogan, with whom she is also estranged.

Brooke was sure everyone around her father moved to satisfy their selfish interests, sparing him the truth when he badly needed to hear it. The mother-of-two did not, however, lose out on Hulk's largesse in its entirety.

She can still benefit significantly from a life insurance trust created by the former wrestler before his death. The media personality has set aside the money to fund her kids' college aspirations, an occurrence she is thankful for.

Brooke clarified that she would have idolized his legacy like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and Selena's, to be remembered and carried from generation to generation. She hoped someone would develop that initiative and take the words out of her mouth.

The online personality recalled what led to the decline of their relationship, and it all started when Hulk confided in her about his reservations about Sky's pressure for them to get married.

The Blast noted that Brooke revealed that the late wrestler admitted that if he gave in to the thoughts in his head and called off the relationship with Sky, things would go awry.

A concerned Brooke then remembered asking for more clarification, but Hulk dismissed it, and the next thing she knew, they were a married couple.

Heated conversations with hurtful words were common throughout Brooke and Hulk's relationship while he lived. The 37-year-old detailed an incident where a contractor handling his building project even overheard them getting into it.

In her words: "He texted me — the contractor texted me — and said, 'Are you OK, kid? That hurt me watching what I saw.' My dad had become a little bit callous in his old age, and that's OK."

Brooke's hierarchy in the scheme of things seems to be at an all-time low right now. The star's agitations about her father's autopsy could not overpower the stance that Sky holds the final say on what direction things must go.

Officials shared that while Sky had yet to request one at the time, the tide may change as she affirmed that they had yet to cremate the body. Sky added that the family wants to be thorough before their final goodbyes.

Medical examiners clarified that the process begins with Sky making an official report to law enforcement about the death. After the police investigations are done, medical examiners will swing into action to ascertain the cause of death.

Brooke expressed her willingness to financially support the process while declaring that things were perfect between her and Sky.
