Gymnast Aly Raisman Impresses With Upside-Down Beach Stretch

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is getting asked: "Is the tree holding you up or are you holding up the tree?" On Thursday, the 26-year-old former athlete impressed her 2.1 million Instagram followers bikini-clad and while delivering quite the beach pose as she tagged Aerie - the "Fierce Five" captain this year made headlines for launching her OFFLINE collab with the clothing retailer. Sharing a rare display of her famous flexibility, one that tends not to get flaunted on Instagram, Aly stunned her followers. See how below.

Scroll for the photo. Aly made headlines back in February for debuting her OFFLINE collab, one inspired by animals and even bringing in blue-eyed dog Mylo for the promos. Today without her pooch but very much with what made her famous, Aly updated upside-down as she used her hands to support herself, posting from a sand beach and resting a lithe leg against a palm tree, complete with a pointed foot.
With her swimwear game strong, Aly went for black bikini bottoms and a printed blue top.

Aly, who had limbering up as her career prior to retirement, took to her caption, writing: "Throwback to this fun shoot" as she also tagged Aerie. The capsule collection is also giving back, working with adults to combat childhood sexual abuse via a portion of proceeds.
"So excited to launch my second collection with @Aerie ? The OFFLINE by Aerie x Aly Raisman line includes a body suit/leotard, skirts (with built in shorts), a dress, sports bras, leggings, biker shorts, dog bandanas & scrunchies," Aly told fans. More photos after the snap!

Aly, herself claiming to have been a victim of sexual abuse in the Larry Nassar sex abuse scandal, added: "This is our third collaboration together that benefits @d2lorg , a non-profit committed to empowering & educating adults to help prevent child sexual abuse, with 15% of all sales from the collection (up to $60K) being donated to D2L."
Raisman also fronts Club Pilates and home gardening equipment brand Aero Garden - her home-grown cucumbers and melons show quite the green thumb. Skip the jump for more photos.

Alongside every other gymnast on earth, Raisman looks up to 24-year-old superstar Simone Biles, herself fresh from her U.S. Gymnastics Championships win. Sharing a floor routine of Simone recently, Aly congratulated the 30-time Olympic and World medalist, writing:
"Jaw dropping! Simone does this better than the men. Congrats to @simonebiles HUGE moment.& congrats to all of the gymnasts who competed so fun to watch you all."
