Linda, 62, previously broke her silence on Hulk Hogan's death just a few days after the news began to spread. In her post, the reality star admitted to being stunned by his death, adding that she had "no idea" he would pass away from his health issues "this soon."
Linda, who also shares two kids, Brooke and Nick Hogan, with Hulk, said she was "devastated" by the news before revealing she still had much "love" for him despite his past problematic behavior, including his "infidelities."
Days later, on August 11, 2025, what would have been Hulk's 72nd birthday, Linda uploaded a throwback photo of her and Hulk from 1981. In the picture, the two are snuggled close with their arms wrapped around each other.
"I love and miss you so much," Linda shared.

However, the post drew a swift and critical reaction from many online users. Several began commenting on Linda's post almost instantly, questioning her intentions.
"Where was all this praise and love when he was alive???" someone asked on Instagram, while another posted, "You cheated on him." Another user accused Linda of "capping," a slang term meaning someone is lying, and a fourth user wrote plainly, "Enough already."
And the negative comments didn't end there. Someone else echoed a similar sentiment and posted, "She can't love him after bashing him," and another wrote, "When he was alive, nothing. Now that he's dead, [she's] praising him, WTF."
Some Users Defend Linda Hogan Amid The Chaos

Despite the harsh reactions, other users rushed to defend Linda against the online trolls, assuring the mother of two that the rollercoaster of emotions she was feeling was normal. "This lady was with him from the beginning, I don't know why everyone so mad at her," they commented.
"No one was in their house to know what exactly happened. I'm sure she misses him and [loves] him," they finished.
A second user replied, "Exactly, and it's nobody's business. She has a right to the way she feels. These people need to stop thinking they know everything — they don't."
When Did Hulk And Linda Divorce?

According to Us Weekly, Linda and Hulk met at a Los Angeles eatery in 1980 before getting married in 1983.
The Hogans filmed their reality show, "Hogan Knows Best," from 2005 to 2007, showcasing the inner workings of their complex and dynamic family.
In 2007, however, days after their show concluded, Linda filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to the publication, Linda and Hulk clashed over numerous issues throughout their divorce proceedings, including finances and other romantic relationships.
"Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children," Hulk's representative said at the time.
Hulk Eventually Married Again

Eventually, Hulk married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, whom he divorced in 2021. He later married yoga instructor Sky Daily in 2023, to whom he had proposed after dating for only a year.
Despite reports that Daily clashed with Hulk's daughter, Brooke, over claims she was pressuring the wrestling icon into marrying her, Daily admitted in an emotional social media tribute that she "loved" Hulk beyond words.
According to Daily, Hulk's passing was "sudden" and has been nearly "impossible to process." As she concluded her tribute, Daily shared that her heart was in "pieces," calling him her true "partner."
"Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality," she added.
