Cher is reportedly pulling out all the stops, even spiritual ones, as her son Elijah Blue Allman continues his downward spiral.
The star is said to be reaching out to her late mother, Georgia Holt, in a desperate attempt to find strength and clarity as Elijah battles addiction and a crumbling marriage.
Cher's concern comes amid her son's recent troubles, which include hospitalisation following a suspected drug overdose.
Cher Reportedly 'Talks To Her Mom Every Day'

With her son's life in chaos, the music legend is said to be in constant spiritual contact with her mother, who died in 2022. Sources say Cher talks to Georgia daily, finding comfort and strength in what she feels is a continuing bond beyond the grave.
Rather than suffer in silence, the singer has reportedly turned to mediums to feel closer to her late mother, and the experience is bringing her some peace. "Cher feels Georgia's presence and knows her mom is there with her," a source close to the star revealed.
Radar Online reports that Cher does not care what people think about her actions. An insider shares, "Cher doesn't care if people think she's crazy. She talks to her mom every day and can feel her mom's empathy and understanding from the world beyond."
Cher may be a powerhouse on stage, but behind the scenes, she is a mother desperate for her son's recovery and holding tight to the only connection that brings her hope.
The Music Icon's Son Was Served Divorce Papers In May

Cher's fears for her son are not unfounded, as his marriage has reportedly fallen apart. The Blast reports that Elijah's estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, personally served him divorce papers at his California home on May 17, only days after he was seen looking disheveled on the streets of Los Angeles.
Though she handed over the documents in May, Marieangela filed for divorce a month earlier, on April 8, citing irreconcilable differences. She listed their separation date as March 31, 2025.
In the paperwork, Marieangela made several firm demands. She wants complete control of their shared home and is also eyeing their 2017 Toyota Prius V. Marieangela also requested $6,000 in monthly spousal support to match their marital lifestyle and cover her living expenses.
To top it off, she asked that Elijah cover her $10,000 in legal fees, promising he would be refunded any extra if they settled before incurring additional costs.
The Hitmaker Was Accused Of Locking Out Elijah's Estranged Wife From Shared Home

Cher has been caught in the middle of her son's family drama since 2023. Elijah's messy split pulled his mother into the fray, with Marieangela accusing Cher of forcibly removing her from the home she once shared with Elijah.
The Blast highlighted court documents that detailed her claim that she was pushed out of the house in late 2022, right after Elijah began receiving medical care.
She says she was denied access to her personal belongings and shared assets and even barred from entering their storage unit, which she says holds "art, antiques, all our furniture from our second home that we had together in Beverly Hills, and other assets accumulated during the marriage."
Marieangela alleged she only received a fraction of the spousal support owed and, at one point, had to leave the country to stay with relatives after losing both her healthcare and housing.
The Actress Allegedly Had Her Son Taken On His Anniversary

In a surprising twist, Marieangela also claimed that Cher had her son removed from their hotel room by force. The 38-year-old explained that she and Elijah were spending time in New York trying to patch up their marriage when, on the night of their anniversary, four men showed up unannounced.
She claims they came straight into their room and took Elijah without warning. One of them allegedly admitted his mother hired them. "I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by his mother," Marieangela stated, adding that it all happened on November 30, 2022.
She says her mother-in-law did not act out of malice but concern for Elijah's well-being, before adding that she was "currently unaware" of his location.
Cher's Second Child Hospitalized After Suspected Overdose

Elijah's downward spiral took a frightening turn in June when he was rushed to the hospital for what is believed to be a drug overdose.
The Blast noted that while his ongoing divorce drama may have contributed to the breakdown, family insiders say it was the emotional weight of Father's Day that pushed him over the edge.
The 47-year-old has reportedly long struggled with the death of his father, Southern rock legend Gregg Allman. "He loved his dad more than anything on earth. He was the only person Elijah ever truly felt he could trust," a source shared.
According to reports, paramedics were sent to his home in Landers, California, after he was found in a distressed state. Deputies reportedly found narcotics at the scene, and sources say he had to be transported from nearby Joshua Tree to receive urgent care.
For Cher, holding on to her mother's spirit may be the only way she feels she can help her son.
