Nearly Two Years Later, Moriah Mills Speaks Out On Zion Williamson Controversy
By Kelly Coffey-Behrens on August 1, 2025 at 11:30 AM EDT

After nearly two years of silence, model and adult entertainer Moriah Mills is reclaiming her voice and her narrative.
Once a headline fixture in 2023 due to her public discussion about her involvement with NBA star Zion Williamson, Mills has weathered a storm of public scrutiny, social media bans, and emotional upheaval.
Now, in an exclusive interview with The Blast, Moriah Mills opens up for the first time about what really happened, how she's healed, and the path she's forging forward, with clarity, purpose, and grace.
Moriah Mills Says 'The Media Told My Story Wrong'

When Mills first went public about her relationship with Williamson, the reaction was swift and severe.
Her social media accounts were removed due to reported violations of social media guidelines, critics questioned her credibility, and countless headlines reduced her to a stereotype.
"I stayed silent while others shaped the narrative that wasn't mine," she told The Blast exclusively. "But I needed time to personally reflect, heal, and grow. Speaking too soon when I was still hurting would've done more harm than good. Now, I'm finally in a good space where I can speak from peace and clarity."
That clarity, she says, is rooted in years of personal work.
Beyond The Headlines: Who Mills Really Is

"Today, I would describe myself as a creator, a businesswoman," Moriah Mills said. "Yes, my past includes adult work, I'm not ashamed of that, but I've always been more than what people assume. I'm evolving emotionally, spiritually, and professionally."
She's now focused on creativity, entrepreneurship, and healing, distancing herself from past public conflict.
"I no longer let conflict or social media negativity consume me," she added. "I've learned to protect my peace."
What Really Happened With Zion Williamson?

While Moriah Mills remains careful not to disclose legal details, she opened up emotionally about the experience of being involved with the NBA star and the toll it took.
"From my perspective, this wasn't about scandal. It was about personal survival," Mills said. "What happened was painful, personal, and it changed me. People saw my statements and reactions posted online at the time, but they didn't see the private unraveling beneath it. The silence I struggled deeply with.. The parts of myself I had to fight to hold onto."
"I didn't handle everything perfectly, and I'll never pretend otherwise," she added. "But what people saw wasn't a woman seeking attention; it was a woman in pain."
Mills also clarified one key point amid recent headlines surrounding Williamson. "To my knowledge, I am not connected to the current Jane Doe lawsuit he's facing," she stated. "I can't speak further without my lawyer present."
Note: Moriah Mills explicitly states she has no known involvement with any ongoing litigation involving Zion Williamson.
Addressing The Stigma: 'I Was Erased'

For Mills, the public's perception wasn't just painful. It was rooted in stigma.
"It wasn't just about race or gender. It was about the label. The moment people saw I worked in adult entertainment, they dismissed or minimized my experience," she explained. "There's this idea that if a woman owns her sexuality, she gives up her right to be treated like a human being. That's simply not true."
Mills says she's proud of her past, but deeply frustrated by how the world flattened her into a one-dimensional persona.
"I've been bold, yes, but I've also been vulnerable," she admits. "Both can exist at the same time. And society doesn't like nuance."

"Reclaiming my narrative means refusing to let public pain become the permanent headline of my life," Mills says. "I'm not who I was or how I reacted in the middle of my hurt. That version of me was real, but it wasn't all of me."
She's clear that her story now is one of growth, self-acceptance, and intention.
"I've done the work," Mills states. "I take responsibility for my actions. The story I'm trying to tell now is about evolution, and coming home to yourself after the world has tried to tear you apart."

To other women navigating difficult journeys, Mills offers a message of resilience.
"Your lowest moment does not erase your worth," she said. "One decision, one chapter, one emotional reaction doesn't define your whole life. You're still allowed to grow. You're still allowed to start over."
She urges women to think long-term and act with purpose. "Protect your peace, your purpose, your power," she added. "That's essential."

"I'm back in the studio making music that reflects where I've been and where I'm going," she reveals. "It's personal for me. It helps me process and express."
She's also exploring entrepreneurial ventures, particularly those that promote body positivity and empowerment for women.
"I want to build something meaningful that helps women feel seen and celebrated," Mills states.

Moriah Mills isn't looking for a redo. She's writing a new chapter. And while she acknowledges the pain of the past, she no longer lives there.
"I'm not here to prove anything," she told The Blast. "I'm here to build something lasting. If my story gives even one woman permission to stop surviving and start living again, then that's the story worth telling."
As Mills closes the door on past public controversy, she's choosing peace, power, and authenticity on her terms.
