Denise Richards' Daughter Breaks Silence On OCD Battle Amid Her Mom's Explosive Divorce

Denise Richards' daughter Sami Sheen's heart-to-heart updates with fans are back as she opens up about her struggles with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

The oldest daughter of actors Charlie Sheen and Richards got candid about her issues on TikTok, sharing how the condition affected her daily life. The health revelation marked one of the media personality's honest moments with fans, as she always told them everything about her life and family.

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards welcomed Sami Sheen alongside her sister, Lola Sheen, during their marriage. He tied the knot to the "Wild Things" star in June 2002, and they separated in March 2005 when the actress filed for divorce, accusing him of alcohol and drug abuse.

Sami revealed her OCD struggles over the weekend, telling fans that she could not stand people who portrayed the condition in one light. "Nothing aggravates me more than when someone's like, 'Oh my God, I'm so OCD, I need to keep my room clean and organized," she began.

"Well, I'm so OCD that even if I buy something from the grocery store that day and I read the expiration date over and over and over and over and over again, somehow I will convince myself it's a fake expiration date and it's actually expired a year ago," Sami continued, adding:

"And if I eat it, I'm going to get violently ill, so I have to throw it away and starve."

OCD, per the Cleveland Clinic, is a mental health condition that causes "frequent unwanted thoughts and sensations (obsessions)." These obsessive thoughts push people to "perform repetitive behaviors (compulsions)" that can interfere with social interactions and performing daily tasks.

The comment section passed the vibe check, with many resonating with Sami's OCD struggles. "It feels so good to see someone have the same OCD symptoms, everyone thinks I'm kidding or crazy. I throw so much food away," a fan claimed.

Another echoed a similar sentiment, writing: "This is so real, I can't trust I'm seeing the expiration date properly, even with other people's confirmation." A third lamented the same problems, noting:

"I'm always late because I have to check I've turned everything off multiple times, even though I definitely did the first time."

Sami responded to a few comments, revealing she had always wanted her own garden after someone suggested she should grow her food. She also corrected a fan who called her out for wasting food, stating, "I'll leave it in my fridge to see if I can end up eating it, or I give it to a friend. I don't just waste food like that."

Sami's OCD confession comes weeks after she seemingly spilled the tea about her mother's rocky marriage to Aaron Phypers. Two days before the former couple's divorce surfaced, the oldest of Richards' two daughters spoke about toxic relationships on TikTok.

PEOPLE reported that she shared tips for maintaining healthy boundaries, noting that some people could not remove the rose-colored glasses in a toxic relationship. Sami explained that she understood the situation because a toxic partner could be good on some days and unhealthy the next.

To avoid forgiving the sins of a toxic partner, Sami advised women to put themselves in the shoes of their loved ones. "You have to ask yourself, if you had a daughter, and she was dating a man like this, what would you tell her? And then, boom, you're like, okay, I would tell her to break up with him, block him, move on," she said.

A day before her comments about toxic relationships, Sami seemingly slammed Richards' estranged husband in a post about narcissistic men. The OnlyFans creator claimed it was impossible to reason with men in that category, saying: "It is such a waste of energy having to deal with people like that."

Sami echoed similar sentiments a day after Phypers filed to end his marriage to Richards, dropping a makeup video alongside the words "this and no men." Phypers pulled the plug on his union to Richards on July 7, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Additionally, Phypers listed their separation date as July 4 and requested spousal support from Richards. However, he asked that their assets and debts be considered separate property, meaning he did not want to share what was his.

Last month, Sami made headlines for vehemently calling her younger sister out for being homophobic. The Blast covered the drama, reporting that Lola did not support the LGBTQ+ community and repeatedly posted Christian videos that criticized them.
