Jeffrey Preston Bezos is dubbed one of the most successful men in the world, but he had a relatable childhood. 

He was born to Jacklyn Gise Jorgensen and Ted Jorgensein in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S. on January 12, 1964. 

Bezos’s father’s parents originally came from an island called ‘Samso’, which is now a part of Denmark. The family migrated to Chicago and gave birth to a son, who would later become Bezos’s father. 

Bezos’s mother’s ethnicity is still unknown, but sources revealed that the name ‘Gise’ may have come from England.
