Bam Margera is heartbroken after the sudden loss of two legends he considered not just icons, but friends.

The "Viva La Bam" alum opened up about what he described as a “really rough week” following the deaths of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away earlier this week at the age of 76, reportedly surrounded by love. Just two days later, Hulk Hogan died at 71 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

Speaking with TMZ while out in Los Angeles on Friday, Margera, accompanied by his wife, Dannii Marie, admitted he was still trying to process the shocking loss of two men who had deeply impacted his life.

“My heart goes out to all of them,” he said, referring to the Hogan family. “It’s been a really rough week.”

Margera and Hogan had recently spent the winter together in Florida. The former MTV star recalled skating with pros and bonding with the WWE Hall of Famer during their downtime. He shared a moment when Hogan, walking with a cane, showed interest in Marie’s stretch therapy services. “So, we pretty much stayed in Florida the whole winter for the Hogans,” he said.

He remembered regular karaoke nights at Hogan’s Hangout and fulfilling a bucket list dream together, seeing Swedish-American guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen in concert.

“We had planned to have dinner with Hulk next week,” Marie shared, highlighting how sudden and unexpected the loss truly felt.

Margera also attended the wedding of Hogan’s son, Nick, back in January, which the wrestling legend had attended as well. “I’m still... I feel a certain way. I’m still shocked by it all,” he added.

On Instagram, Margera paid tribute with a heartfelt slideshow and message, “I’m crushed. Hulk was more than a hero, he was family to me and my wife. It was an absolute honor to take him to see Yngwie Malmsteen, one of his biggest wishes.”

He added a lesser-known detail. “Not many people knew it, but he was a professional musician before he was a professional wrestler. Hulk played in bands and was an incredible studio musician… amazing bass player!”

“Damn, I’m gonna miss you man, it hurts,” Margera continued. “Rest in power Hulkster. I’ll carry your spirit forever.”

Bam Margera’s emotional tributes to Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne come amid what has already been a deeply personal and challenging journey.

The former reality star has been candid about his struggles in recent years, from addiction battles and mental health issues to legal troubles and a very public fight for sobriety.

Once known for his wild stunts and larger-than-life personality on MTV, Margera's off-screen life began to spiral after the 2011 death of his best friend and fellow star Ryan Dunn. The tragedy marked the beginning of a long road of rehab stints, public breakdowns, and strained family relationships, including several confrontations with longtime friend and co-star Johnny Knoxville.

In 2023, Margera made headlines after a series of legal incidents and was briefly placed on a psychiatric hold. He later vowed to get clean for his son, Phoenix, and in recent months, has appeared healthier and more focused, even returning to skating and publicly reconciling with members of his family.

His most recent appearances, including attending Hogan’s son’s wedding and spending time with Dannii Marie in Florida, seemed to signal a fresh chapter for the 45-year-old.

As he mourns the loss of two icons he considered family, fans are also rallying around Bam, offering support for a man who continues to fight his way back from the edge.
