Simone Biles just introduced “Goldie” the goat, and it’s on the 24-year-old’s leotard as she updates her Instagram following one very successful weekend. The world’s most-decorated gymnast, winning her seventh national women’s all-around title at the June 6 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, today posted for her 4 million followers with a name for the “GOAT.” Simone, who competed in a glittery leotard with rhinestone detailing and the goat embellished on it, now seemingly has a nickname for him. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. Simone had made headlines ahead of the championships for delivering a jaw-dropping Yurchenko double pike, one that had never been attempted by a female gymnast at competing level. Since then, the Ohio native has gone onto win the event this year hosted in Fort Worth, TX, with a score of 119.650.
On Monday, Simone shared more shots of her leotard, very much drawing the eye to a humorous and good-luck goat. Or maybe, it’s just The Greatest of All Time.
The bedazzled goat sits on the left shoulder of the leotard in white. On the black version, it’s close to Simone’s waist. “Introducing GOLDIE,” she wrote, adding: “Thanks for giving her a name ya’ll.” The latter sentence likely stems from Twitter going pretty nuts over the goat just yesterday.
“What a self aware queen,” a fan had jokingly written as they said they were “fangirling over Simone Biles wearing a leotard with a little GOAT on the back.” More photos below.
Posting shortly after the championships and waving up a white cowboy hat as she posed in her leotard, Simone updated her Instagram, telling fans: “Hats off fort worth, heading back home feeling grateful, supported and excited. Olympic Trials up next ✨.” Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin was quick to leave a like, with one follower gushing:
“My favorite gymnast ever😍. Can’t wait to see you. In you’re hometown of. Columbus Ohio in October. This will be my 4th time seeing you live. I see you every time. You come to Columbus.”

Also making headlines by virtue of his girlfriend’s latest career win is NFL player boyfriend Jonathan Owens, who has been dating Simone since 2020. The 25-year-old took to social media, gushing over Uber Eats face Simone and writing:
“What an amazing experience. First time getting to watch you compete in person and you didn’t disappoint. It’s so cool that i get to watch you do what you love, and be the best at that ‼️ I’m so proud of you my lil champ 🥰❤️ Trials up next and you already know I’m there!! Love you baby ❤️❤️.”
