Tekashi 6ix9ine is arguably known as the biggest troll in the music industry, as he doesn’t fear any rapper and doesn’t hesistate at all to tell another artist what’s on his mind. Over the past few years, he’s feuded with many rappers, mostly from Chicago. These include Lil Durk, Lil Reese, and King Von. 6ix9ine isn’t very active on social media lately, but pokes fun at Durk whenever he can, whether this involves disrespecting the late King Von, or other headlines Durk makes.
Lil Durk’s Brother Was Shot And Killed In Chicago This Weekend
One of the latest shots that 6ix9ine is now taking is in regards to Durk’s brother. According to TMZ, his brother, who goes by OTF DThang, was shot and killed last night in the 7900 block of S. Loomis Blvd area of Chicago. No autopsy has been conducted yet. It is being reported that DThang was outside of a local nightclub and was soon shot in the head. His legal name has since been identified as 32-year-old Dontay Banks Jr.
6ix9ine Clowns Durk On Instagram Over Death Of His Brother
6ix9ine, of course, had to chime in regarding Durk‘s brother’s horrible death. The Brooklyn rapper commented on a post on DJ Akademiks‘ page regarding the shooting as he said “@lildurk tell the truth about yo Gang man they really dyin. Stop the senseless violence.” Many have since voiced their opinions under 6ix9ine’s comments, as they feel that he is being insensitive, just as he was with the murder of Durk’s close friend, King Von, back in November.
6ix9ine Disrespected Durk On Instagram After King Von’s Death As Well
Shortly after King Von’s murder outside of Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta in November, 6ix9ine had some disrespectful comments to make on Instagram then as well to Durk. At the time, 6ix9ine commented under a DJ Akademiks post by saying “Nuski, Now Von. You Still Rapping, Go Pick Up a Gun.” This was in regards to both Durk’s cousin being shot and killed in Chicago before and then, Durk going through the loss of Von in Atlanta.
6ix9ine Also Feuded With Meek Mill This Year
In February, 6ix9ine also had a highly-publicized feud with Meek Mill. The two almost got physical in a parking garage in Atlanta back in February. Both rappers were being held back as after, 6ix9ine accused Meek of having too much police and security. On Twitter, Meek said that 6ix9ine almost got hurt, due to trying to create another viral moment. 6ix9ine ended up putting their viral clip in his “ZAZA” music video, which Meek soon requested that to be removed, at the request of his lawyer.
