Britney Spears Talks About Being Protected by Crystal Collection

Britney Spears has been open about her views on faith and spiritual power, and now the Princess of Pop is revealing to have another passion that brings her calming energy – her crystal collection. Britney took to Instagram this weekend to share a story from her childhood after feeling inspired by a photo from Hilary Duff's children.

The photo showed a beautiful pattern arranged on the sidewalk using rocks and other natural elements, and it really hit home with Britney, who explained she did a similar thing when she was a kid.

Britney Spears gave credit to Hilary Duff and her family and commented that she thought the spiral rock pattern was "way cool."

"I always collected crystals ? as a small child and my parents honestly thought it was weird that I’d disappear and they'd find me looking for rocks and crystals in people's driveways!" Britney revealed.

She explained that the love of rocks and crystal has led to her own "beautiful collection," and although she only has about 10, Britney decalres, "I give them a lot of attention!"

She added, "I almost feel a sort of protection when I see rocks now ... they are so strong and solid ?? ... I like holding them !!!! I used to take the small ones with me when I was younger and hide them in my pockets ... and if I was around anyone who gave me bad vibes I would hold it very tight!"

Britney revealed that she regularly kept rocks and crystals around, especially during interviews to help give her more "confidence and awareness."

"I did this in a lot of interviews up until I was around 24 or so!" she wrote.

Britney then advised, " If you ever find yourself alone and have an urge to find a connection to the universe, hold on to one of your favorite rocks … look up … and let it guide your spirit ??? !!!! And remember - you can't mess with Mother Nature ... she's very powerful … after all she is responsible for the beauty in spring and summer ?????... the white, glistening snow in the winter ❄️❄️❄️ ... and yes, she is a beast ... volcanoes … hurricanes … tornadoes ???????️?️?️… so please pick up a piece of her today and smile ??? !!!!! There are so many religions but the “worship of nature" is the only phenomenon ... so go pick up a fucking rock ??? !!!!!"
