Jamie Foxx is still beating Father Time!
The 53-year-old actor showed off his impressive arm strength and amazing accuracy on Saturday, June 5. Foxx channeled his iconic “Any Given Sunday” character, quarterback Willie Beamen, as he tossed a football into a basketball net from wayyy downtown.
"Bombs away! #williebeamen,” Jamie wrote alongside the clip.
Foxx starred in the 1999 Oliver Stone film alongside Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, and many more. Pacino and Foxx’s characters butt heads because of Beamen’s risky play and flashy personality. Apparently, some of Beamen’s fancy skills stuck with the multitalented star.

Foxx's famous athlete friends were totally stoked on the cool trick shot and sounded off in the comments section. "They call me Willie, Willie Beamen 🎶," Matt Barnes excitedly wrote, while Tristan Thompson left fire 🔥🔥 emojis.
Of course, his followers were quick to ask about a follow-up film. "Can we get an Any Given Sunday sequel?" one fan asked. Others gave him props. "You’re the man! Not surprised. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼" one commented.

Being a professional quarterback was the Oscar-winning actor's original dream, but we think he's happy with the way things turned out. Foxx played basketball and football at Terrell High School in his youth and was the first quarterback to ever pass for over 1000 yards.
Last month, Foxx proved that he is very familiar with every unique football dynamic by nailing an impression of a college football coach at Georgia Tech University. The team's official social media put out the hilarious of Coach Foxx. "Now that you're on the field, your mine!" Jamie said in a raspy elderly voice. "I love all you guys, but I can't have all of you on the field, so somebody's parents are not going to see their son play."
