Kelly was meant to be having a blast and celebrating her engagement to Wilson; however, her father's battle with Parkinson's disease left no room for festivities. Now his tragic passing would damper any wedding plans as the Osbournes mourn the loss of the rock legend.

The former "Fashion Police" star addressed her feelings on her Instagram Story in a brief statement, writing, "I feel unhappy. I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had [broken heart emoji]." As stated, Ozzy died weeks after witnessing Wilson pop the big question to his daughter on July 5.

Kelly's Relationship With Sid Wilson

Wilson's backstage proposal occurred before Ozzy, Sharon, and Kelly's younger brother, Jack, along with their friends, who applauded their union. The media personality and the DJ first met in 1999 at Ozzfest, the music festival founded by the Osbourne family.

Although they maintained a decades-long friendship, Wilson and Kelly did not start dating until 2022. She shed light on their long history while celebrating their first Valentine's Day as lovers. In the social media post, Kelly shared a picture of the couple kissing, alongside the words:

"After 23 years of friendship, I can't believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson."

Following news of Ozzy's death, The Blast shared that an interview Kelly did last year resurfaced. During the emotional conversation, the TV personality got candid about the impacts of her father's Parkinson's disease.

She reflected on his struggles from a vulnerable perspective, stressing how challenging it was watching her icon's health deteriorate. "We don't know good days from bad days until you're in it," Kelly said, noting that one could plan, but it was difficult predicting when problems would pop up.

"I always look at my parents as being so invincible, and all of a sudden you realize that like…oh they're fragile and they're little," Kelly explained. She added that becoming the person responsible for caring for her parents, who had given her everything, changed her perspective on life.

Although Kelly and her brother Jack are the most famous of Ozzy and Sharon's children, they have an older sister, infamously known as the "forgotten" Osbourne daughter. The Blast reported that Aimee reunited with her siblings in their father's time of need.

A source shared that the oldest of the trio travelled from Los Angeles to the UK to care for Ozzy in his final days. They noted she joined Kelly in supporting their father alongside Jack, adding that the family was heartbroken when the patriarch took his final breath.

"It is terribly sad for all of them, they really hoped he would be able to carry on for a bit longer. But it's so lovely that he had his children around him during his last days," the source claimed.

Aimee was also a part of the joint statement announcing Ozzy's passing with Sharon, Kelly, Jack, and their step-sibling, Louis.

Aimee's reunion with the family came four years after Kelly revealed they were estranged in a 2021 interview. "We don't talk. We're just really different. She doesn't understand me, and I don't understand her," the TV personality declared.

Kelly's fraught relationship with her older sister reportedly started after the latter refused to participate in their family's reality TV series, "The Osbournes." Aimee left home at 16 rather than showcase her life for fans' entertainment.

She reflected on her decision in a 2015 interview, claiming she had a different relationship with the spotlight than her family. Aimee noted this difference impacted her relationship with her younger siblings, stating:

"I wouldn't say there is an ease between us. But there is an acceptance. Do we socialize? No."

Rest in peace, Ozzy Osbourne!
