Paris Jackson appears to be in emotional distress amid dealing with fan backlash from her tour performance on June 25.
The date marked the 16th anniversary of her father, Michael Jackson's, death, but Paris had other plans to go on the Incubus Tour.
Weeks after fans lashed out at the songwriter for performing on the memorable date, she was seen in a concerning emotional state.
Paris Jackson Spotted With Tear-Filled Eyes During Solo Walk

The 27-year-old singer was photographed looking distraught and in tears as she strolled in Malibu on Wednesday. Paris donned a pair of grey biking shorts, paired with a brown shirt, for the solo walk.
She accessorized with a stack of bracelets and a necklace and finished the look with chunky sneakers. The model’s blonde hair was styled in a messy bun, making her look disheveled.
Paris appeared makeup-free, with puffy eyes, as she broke down in tears, not caring about onlookers, according to photos taken by the Daily Mail.
Paris Jackson Gets Backlash For Going On Tour On Her Dad’s Death Anniversary

The singer’s emotional outing comes weeks after the 16th anniversary of her father’s death, which coincided with her tour date.
Fans wasted no time in criticizing the singer for choosing to perform on such a memorable date. However, Paris addressed the critics, explaining that picking the date was out of her control because she was a supporting act.
Per The Blast, the singer took to Instagram to set the record straight with a video message.
"So people are mad again," Paris began in the candid update. "This time, I think, I guess one of the tour dates I'm supposed to be going out on tour with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra happens to be June 25, which is a very negative anniversary for me in my life and my family."
She continued, "What I guess I have to explain to these people is that when you're not headlining these shows, you don't pick what date you perform.”
Paris Jackson Honored Late Michael Jackson On Stage

While fans kept their tongues wagging on how Jackson should have honored her deceased father, the singer opted to memorialize him through her performance.
While on stage at the Incubus concert, the young artist paid tribute to her iconic father.
Speaking to the crowd, Paris said, "He would have been 65 years old today, and he put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love, and passion into doing what he did, so I could stand up here on stage, in front of you, and scream into a microphone. So I owe everything to him."
Paris Jackson Celebrated Her Five-Year Sobriety Journey

It is no news that the death of the pop icon severely affected his daughter’s life, and the pain led to her becoming addicted. However, the songwriter went on a sobriety journey, and earlier in January, she celebrated five years of being sober.
Paris marked the moment, reflecting on her substance abuse-filled days. She posted a montage on Instagram showing pictures of herself dealing with several substances.
In the accompanying caption, Jackson expressed her joy about her achievement. She wrote, "Today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. To say that I'm thankful would be a poor euphemism, "[as] gratitude hardly scratches the surface. It's because I'm sober that I get to smile today."
Michael Jackson’s Biopic Is Postponed To 2026

As Paris deals with her emotional breakdown, her late father's biopic, which is set to air later in the year, has been postponed to 2026.
The movie, which follows the “We are the World” hitmaker’s life and career, was initially set to air in April 2025. It was later rescheduled for October, but now it has been postponed to April 2026.
As The Blast reported, the delay was a result of the movie’s length, leading to it being cut into two parts.
The first part was over three hours, and it referenced Jordan Chandler, who had accused the dead singer of molestation at 13. The late musician settled the claims with over $20 million without admitting guilt.
However, after production ended, it was discovered that Chandler had an agreement preventing him from featuring in the film. As such, the producers had to edit some parts out. The second part of the movie is reportedly in development, with no set release date yet.
