A new hard seltzer has entered the arena just in time for summer, but this ain't for Hot Girl Summer ... it's for the dudes.

YouTube stars, the NELK Boys, debuted Happy Dad hard seltzer this week. NELK honchos, Kyle Forgeard and Steve Will Do It have been hard at work designing a seltzer geared towards their specific audience and even released a YouTube video chronicling the painstaking process.

"BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR OVER A YEAR. HAPPY DAD SELTZER IS HERE BABY!" Kyle declared on Instagram.

He added, "Amazing taste, has electrolytes, the perfect amount of carbonation & no more skinny can bullshit. NONE OF THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU BOYS WE WILL NEVER FORGET IT."

Happy Dad may have a new beverage, but it's rooted in some deep history. According to the website:

"Happy Dad’s water is naturally filtered by limestone and is crafted in small batches to ensure quality. It is also brewed at the 2nd oldest brewery in all of America. They even kept their operation going through the prohibition days. Pretty badass."

The seltzers, which are currently available in flavors of lemon-lime, watermelon, wild cherry and pineapple, also contain electrolytes to keep you hydrated while getting hammered.

The boys took the testing process very seriously and made sure Happy Dad had the best flavor possible.

"We could have had one years ago and just used and seltzer and slapped our logo on it and call it ours.. but we wanted to make everything ourselves. It took a ducking year to get the right flavor," Steve Will Do It wrote on Instagram while celebrating the launch.

Happy Dad will be available on June 14 in California before expanding to other states and locations.

The Happy Dad revolution has already begun, because Instagram shut down a page for the hard seltzer after it skyrocketed in followers following the initial announcement.

"IG deleted us last night cus we blew up too fast, but we’re back," a message on the Happy Dad Instagram feed read after NELK was able to get up a new page.

Sounds like the seltzer is about to make some happy dads this summer ... and also make some new dads for next year!
