Royal Crawl offers three different Vegas adventures - Las Vegas Strip, South Strip, and Downtown Vegas. So depending on what area of the city you want to enjoy a few hours of tasting drinks and seeing the sights, there's a bar crawl just waiting for you.

The Las Vegas Strip option is located at the LINQ Promenade, Downtown Vegas is located on Fremont Street, and the South Strip crawl is at Mandalay Bay and Luxor.

Each bar crawl takes participants to five fun locations where each bar offers a special crawl drink menu. You can stay as long as you like at each before moving on to the next. Participants must download the app before starting and then it's GAME ON!

'There Should Be An App For That'

The founder of Royal Crawl actually came up with the idea on a bar napkin after feeling that most bar crawls aren't super organized and not that much fun.

"I've done bar crawls all over the country, really all over the world, and it just always seemed unorganized and not very fun," Kyle Markman, founder of Royal Crawl told The Blast exclusively.

Everyone always says there should be an app for that about everything in their life and one day, I was on a bar crawl and I was like there should be an app for that. I thought about it for a while and then one day I was at a bar with a buddy of mine and the poker cards and the whole system of what we do now just kind of popped in my head."

Fast forward to now, 10 years after Markman had the original idea, and there are three daily bar crawls available in Las Vegas with the possibility of further expansion in the near future.

What Sets This Bar Crawl Apart From Others?

There are a few things that set Royal Crawl apart from other bar crawls. First, there's no timeframe that you must adhere to. You can stay at each location as long or as short as you wish.

"It's self-guided. It's still structured, but you can go at your own pace," Markman said. "If you want to hang out at any of our bars for a couple of hours, eat, drink, and do whatever that bar may offer, do it. You are on your own schedule with our app."

Another difference from typical bar crawls is the "gamified element" where each crawler is competing against other crawlers from that day.

"You check in through the app at each bar and when you check in, you get a playing card, a virtual playing card through the app," he continued. "You show the bartender, they swipe it, you get a drink. By the time you hit all five stops, you've had five drinks but also have a five-card poker hand. And you're competing when the crawl is over for the best poker hand."

Choose Your Vegas Bar Crawl Adventure

If you're looking to stick around the center of the Las Vegas Strip, there's a crawl for that. Or maybe you're thinking you're more in the mood for a wild time down on Fremont Street? There's a crawl for that, too. Or maybe the south end of the Strip and some golf is more your speed? There's a crawl for that!

"The birthplace of Royal Crawl is LINQ Promenade, almost exactly 10 years ago," Markman told The Blast. "The pandemic obviously was not kind to us, but when we came back, the next one we started daily was the Fremont crawl which goes from Circa to Golden Gate to The D. You go to five bars up and down Fremont Street."

The newest crawl to join the family is the South Strip crawl. That one takes place at Mandalay Bay and the Luxor and has some really cool bars and offers a unique stop during the crawl.

"With your ticket, you get five drinks, one at each bar, and a special perk of one hour of free play at Play Playground," he said. (Play Playground is an adult-only experience with larger-than-life games to play, located at the Luxor.)
