Donald Trump is getting a kick out of Stephen Colbert's canceled show.

The President went after the TV host, following CBS's announcement that he will vacate the hosting seat for "The Late Show" in May 2026.

Stephen Colbert coincidentally unearthed some observations about Donald Trump's health and connection to Jeffrey Epstein's list on the same day his show was canceled.

The President is known for dancing on his adversary's grave, and he did not seize the opportunity to goad Colbert for this latest development. Hopping on his Truth Social platform, the President wrote:

"I absolutely love that Colbert' got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next."

He continued that Kimmel has "less talent than Colbert!" and declared Greg Gutfeld the best of all three combined. He also threw jabs at one "Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show."

Trump's comment certainly caught the attention of a few X users who left their verdict. A user wrote that the President probably "found dirt on this show, and that's why they are canceled."

Another X subscriber wondered why the President of the United States would bother himself with this kind of news. "When grudges speak louder than grace, pettiness becomes the headline. Trump's jab at Colbert is less about comedy and more about settling scores with a smirk," this commenter declared.

A fourth user slammed the President for paying attention to this, but refusing to answer important questions about his "pedo buddy Jeffrey." "Congrats to Stephen Colbert for never bending the knee" another X subscriber declared in admiration of the TV legend.

The Comedian Put The POTUS On Blast On 'The Late Show'

Well, Colbert apparently stepped on Trump's tail when he shed light on a possible health condition affecting the President, as shared by HuffPost. According to Colbert, he noticed something was wrong with Trump's skin when he appeared to be wearing concealer on a bruise in a recent outing.

The White House explained that the bruise was caused by excessive human contact and the use of aspirin. But a determined Colbert could not stop asking if his makeup artist had a thing for fondants because of the copious amount of concealer applied on the bruise.

The comedian then touched on another sensitive issue about Trump's affiliation with Epstein, describing the bruise situation as a distraction.

"That controversy is causing so much trouble for Trump that he recently ordered it to be put in a cell and for the cameras to stop working for three minutes," Colbert noted.

On July 17, it was confirmed that the politician was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. This is a disorder where bloods in the leg have a hard time circulating to the rest of the body, hence putting him at risk of high blood pressure.

According to Hopkins Medicine, when the blood in the legs struggles to flow back up to the heart, it may cause the blood to pool in the legs, which is not a good sign.

The disease is reportedly common to adults over the age of 50, which means at 79, Trump is a viable candidate. The President was spotted with sadly swollen ankles and bruising on his hand.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the condition is usually benign and typically common, and for now, the President is not dealing with any blood clots, per TMZ.

In 2018, during his first tenure in office, the President reposted a video claiming that clips from his 2015 interview, in which he shared his plan to build a wall, were deleted by CBS.

As reported by Independent, Colbert did not take Trump's action lightly and he immediately condemned such a move on what was meant to be a sensitive day.

"I don't know why the President would take time on a National Day of Mourning to retweet something weird like this, but the original clips have always been online. 16 million views," he noted.

He made the same claim this year in May, reposting a similar conspiracy clip about the deletion on his Truth Social account, stating: "You are not supposed to see this video. CBS DELETED this entire episode from their official website. You will not find these segments on YouTube either."

However, the videos are reportedly still very much available on the streaming platform on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" official account.

The network got into another episode with the President when he recently sued them for aiding Kamala Harris's campaign with a misleading interview with the then-vice President.

According to him, the facts stated in the video by Harris during the 60 Minutes interview caused him mental stress. Trump's attorney added that the network sought to use the First Amendment as a weapon to prevent a lawsuit.

For context, CBS filed a lawsuit to dismiss the case earlier in May, arguing that Trump's case lacks "basis in law or fact."

The attorney added that CBS argued "that they cannot be held responsible for illegal conduct, intended to mislead the masses and undertaken in the pursuit of profit, because such conduct was the result of 'editorial judgment."
