Zac Brown's image continues to take a beating amid his turbulent relationship with his ex-wife, Kelly Yazdi.
The frontman of the Zac Brown Band has repeatedly been accused of being nefarious behind closed doors, with Yazdi ensuring his alleged nice-guy facade does not deceive fans. She recently shared her sorrows on TikTok, claiming her ex was adamant on destroying her life.
Zac Brown secretly tied the knot to Kelly Yazdi in August 2023, but their romance ended four months later. They announced their decision to divorce in a joint statement that implied they had amicably split. However, the model sang a different tune in May 2024, accusing her ex of "narcissistic abuse."
Kelly Yazdi Reflects On Her Tumultuous History With Zac Brown

Yazdi got vulnerable about her legal warfare with Brown, telling fans the court had finally set a date for their jury trial.
She confirmed the former couple would face off at the US District Courthouse in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 15, 2025, the first step to what she hoped would be a well-needed conclusion to their chapter.
"I'm looking forward to finally having my day in court. For a bit of context: Zac has been dragging me through lawsuits for the last year and a half now. It started back in early 2024, when he tried to force me to sign a marital NDA during our divorce, which I refused," Yazdi explained.
Brown allegedly retaliated by using their wedding footage in his music video, where a look-alike model engaged in inappropriate behavior. "It was just... disgusting," Yazdi told fans on TikTok. She added that her ex-husband's abuse continued when she sued her in May 2024 for a poem she wrote.
The Model Is Financially & Emotionally Exhausted
Yazdi explained that Brown sued her for allegedly violating her employment agreement with his company, Zac Brown Collective (ZBC), and even filed a temporary restraining order against her over the poem. He also sued for "corporate espionage," before withdrawing his motion.
She stressed that Brown only backed down after "a very long and very expensive discovery process" in December 2024. "Zac has kept me tied up in expensive lawsuits, as a means to control and intimidate me, even though our divorce was finalized in January," Yazdi lamented, adding:
"Why won't this guy just leave me alone? I don't know. This has been an incredibly difficult, expensive, and emotional journey: one that I never asked for and one that I hope no one else ever has to go through. But I have to stand up for myself."
Fans Rally Against The Country Music Singer

Yazdi expressed gratitude to the law, noting that at her last hearing on May 21, the Judge claimed he did not grant Brown's TRO because he would not "allow anybody to bully anybody." The legal umpire's statement gave her hope that justice would prevail regardless of her ex-husband's influential status.
Fans proved the judge was not the only one advocating for a proper legal battle without intimidation, sharing their support for Yazdi in the comments. Many declared they would cancel Brown for his alleged abusive ways, while others applauded his ex-wife for refusing to be silenced.
"Post-separation litigation abuse. Sickening!! Men like him are allowed to do this, and the courts entertain it. I'm so sorry! Stand in your truth, don't let him bull you over. You got this mama," a TikToker cheered Yazdi.
Another echoed similar sentiment, writing, "He won't leave you alone because he's a narcissist and narcissists need to control and harm people."
The Former Couple's Divorce Was Not Amicable

Contrary to their divorce announcement, Yazdi and Brown did not separate amicably. The Blastshared that the media personality spilled the tea on their bitter breakup last year, claiming she stayed silent out of fear of her ex's legal retaliation.
Yazdi noted she tied the knot to Brown in August 2023 but did not hold a wedding party until November. Nine days after celebrating their union with family and friends, the singer allegedly asked for a divorce over Zoom and demanded that she sign an NDA that prohibited her from discussing their relationship.
The model claimed Brown filed for divorce after she refused to be silenced and subsequently fired her from her position as Executive Vice President of his company. Then he sued her for the poem she published in May 2024, where she did mention his name, but addressed "narcissistic abuse" in a relationship.
Zac Brown Scored A Major Win In Their Divorce Battle

The drama between Yazdi and Brown continued in their divorce battle, with the media personality contesting their prenuptial agreement. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she suspected her ex-husband had not been truthful about his finances when they signed the documents.
Yazdi failed to prove her claims, with the court siding with Brown and accepting the validity of their prenup. It was ruled that both parties signed the agreement without "fraud, duress, or mistake or through misrepresentation or non-disclosure of material fact," marking a significant win for the country music singer.
The former couple seemingly had a great relationship for years, with PEOPLE sharing that they got engaged sometime in 2022. A source claimed Brown proposed during a romantic getaway to Hawaii, and they quietly tied the knot a year later in Coweta County, Georgia.
Four months after their wedding, Brown and Yazdi released a joint statement announcing their divorce. Although they were separating, the former couple claimed their "mutual respect for one another remains" and wished each other the best, implying they had amicably ended their relationship.
