Denise Richards Accuses Ex Aaron Phypers Of 'Violent' Abuse And Death Threats In Explosive Court Docs

Denise Richards is making serious allegations against estranged husband Aaron Phypersamid their ongoing divorce, and the claims are deeply disturbing.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum filed for court-ordered protection from Phypers just weeks after he filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" and requesting spousal support.

While their breakup initially appeared amicable, newly surfaced court documents paint a much darker picture of their six-year marriage, with Denise Richards allegedly experiencing abuse and death threats.

In legal filings obtained by Daily Mail, Richards accuses Phypers of violent physical abuse that allegedly persisted throughout their entire relationship. The "Wild Things" actress claims Phypers would frequently choke her, squeeze her head and arms, slap her in the face, and even slam her head into a bathroom towel rack.

"Aaron would violently choke me… aggressively slam my head… hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me,” she wrote in the filing, adding that he would threaten to kill her and hack into her personal devices to steal private messages.

Richards also claims that Phypers regularly threatened to “break [her] jaw,” and alleges that he caused at least three concussions. She further accuses him of planting recording devices in hotel rooms and townhouses to monitor her when she was alone.

In another harrowing account, Denise Richards detailed an alleged physical confrontation that took place on July 4, the same day listed as their official separation. According to court documents, Richards claims Phypers got within inches of her face and screamed degrading profanities, calling her a “c-nt" and a “piece of sh-t.”

The following day, she says he showed up at her townhouse with his father, again berating her with vulgar language, striking the bill of her hat with the back of his hand, causing it to fall off, and tightly grabbing her arm. Later that same day, she alleges he chased her, forcefully grabbed both arms, and dragged her to the ground, causing her to land painfully on the stairs.

Richards also accuses Phypers of stealing her laptop, sending private messages without her permission, and threatening, “You’ll disappear,” if she contacted the police.

But that's not all. In another troubling instance at his Malibu workplace, Richards claims Phypers became paranoid about supposed listening devices hidden in potted plants, struck her in the eye with the heel of his palm, and called her a “f-cking b-tch.”

She also expressed serious concern over his alleged possession of at least eight unregistered firearms.

Richards submitted red carpet photos showing visible bruises on her arms, which she says were caused by him and had forgotten to cover up.

In response to the allegations, the court has granted Richards a temporary restraining order, requiring Phypers to stay at least 100 yards away from her, her home, her workplace, and her vehicle until their next court appearance on August 8.

Sources close to Denise Richards say the actress was completely blindsided when Aaron Phypers filed to end their nearly six-year marriage last week.

According to insiders, Richards is “furious” over the filing, especially after making it clear she did not want to go through another divorce. “Aaron wanted to hurt her, and he has,” a source told Daily Mail. “Meanwhile, the last thing he wants is to be broke, so she’s cutting off his cash flow.”

According to Aaron Phypers' divorce petition filed on July 7, he claims he has not earned any income since the couple’s separation.

In contrast, his estranged wife reportedly brings in a substantial monthly income, allegedly around $250,000, from various sources, including her OnlyFans account, television appearances, brand deals, and paid events, according to an income and expense declaration obtained by Daily Mail.

Phypers is requesting spousal support, citing monthly expenses totaling $105,000, and is also demanding that he and Richards evenly divide their joint production company, Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment.

As of now, Phypers has not publicly responded to the abuse allegations.
