Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Shows Off MASSIVE Veiny Muscles Ahead Of Shirtless 'Black Adam' Scenes

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is bigger, denser, and veinier than ever!
The massive actor showed off his late-night gym selfie as he prepares for the most important scenes for his upcoming superhero movie, "Black Adam," on Monday, May 31... and by most important scenes, we mean the shirtless ones! The Rock expressed his excitement for this week's scenes and explained why this movie is different from any other he's done.

Big week for #BlackAdam shooting my 'champion' scenes with my shirt off and showing my body," DJ wrote on social media.

DJ says he's been doing a little extra for his leading superhero role. "Been working extremely hard dieting, training and conditioning unlike any other role of my entire career," he wrote.
"Manipulating water, sodium, cardio but also having to push and pull real iron to have dense, dry, detailed muscle." He continued, "It’s a real science that takes months and months to dial it all in with my strength & conditioning coach @daverienzi who keeps a very watchful eye, constantly fine tuning our strategy daily."
The 6'5", 260 lbs actor explained what the "champion" scenes are and why it's important to be extra muscley for them.
"As many of you know, the intense (and exciting) comic mythology of Teth Adam - he becomes the immortal “champion” by the Gods." He added, "Blessed with the powers of Superman and dangerous magic from the wizards. Then his rage turns his soul dark, forever becoming Black Adam⚡️. Big week, grateful for the grind & support - here we go??."

His "champion" late-night workout pic is the latest in a series of gym selfies he's shared while he transforms his impressive physique into an even more impressive physique. He proved that he has never skipped a leg day in his life as he posed with a heavy chain and heavier, thick thighs. DJ was going for the opposite of thigh gap.
He declared himself "Black Adam ready⚡️⛓" at the time but apparently, the latest scenes required a little extra pump. We think the phrase, "thick thighs save lives" is a little cliche, but in this case, Black Adam's thighs will most likely save lives.

Johnson is a huge actor, but he has an even bigger heart. Last week, he revealed that he sent a very special birthday message to a 7-year-old fan, and it made his day.
"I mean look at this little boy’s smiling face!!
(this kinda stuff is truly the BEST part of my job)," he wrote at the time. "Kash just celebrated his 7th birthday ???? ? ? and surrounded by love."
