Chris Bukowski was an iconic cast of “Bachelor In Paradise” for three seasons. Any fan of the Bachelor paradise knows who this gorgeous looking guy is. 

 His presence on the show was not only entertaining, but a defining moment in his career. He became very popular among fans and they loved his personality. 

Unfortunately, this fame did not come with side effects, as the reality star recently revealed that his time on TV harmed many good things in his life. Starting with the relationship he shared with his parents.

Bukowski's Relationship With His Parents Is Still Sore

Bukowski recently got candid about the strained relationship he now has with his parents, especially his father. 

He noted that while the show may have helped to boost his career and given him a name in the media, it was responsible for a lot of mishaps in his life. 

He maintained that while he seldom speaks to his mother, his relationship with father is completely strained. The star did not go into details about how he intends to repair this broken bond, but it was apparent that he was hurting.

'Bachelor In Paradise' Appearance

Bukowski kicked off his reality TV career in season eight of “The Bachelorette.” During week eight of the show, he was eliminated, but that did not deter him. 

He tried to enter the show again in the 10th season, requesting an audience with Andi Dorfman but was turned down. 

In the first season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” Bukowski was a cast on the show, but willingly left in the third week. In the next season, he showed up again, only to quit again in week four. 

In season six of “Bachelor in Paradise,” he returned and won the show, making it his final appearance on reality TV.

People often say that fame comes with positive and negative sides. In some cases the good side side outweighs the bad and vice-versa. 

Bukowski revealed that he was soaked in the popularity and spotlight, that he had no idea the damage it was causing in his immediate life. 

He went on to reveal that he became addicted to alcohol and anxiety medications which also worsened his condition. By 2015, his parents seemed to have had enough when he was trolled online. 

Although Bukowski me still finding his footing, he has managed to put himself in a good light that makes him a pointer to how the spotlight can affect people’s personal lives.

Bukowski won season six of “Bachelor in Paradise,” with his love interest, Katie Morton by his side. 

The pair got engaged during the final episode of the show, and although, fans hoped for a wedding it sadly did not happen.

The lovers disclosed that since the show ended, they were faced major difficulties in their relationship which eventually led to its end. 

Now, Bukowski is dating another former Bachelor cast, Katrina Badowski. Seeing how similar their last names look, the Bachelor alum coined a “ship” name for them. Fans refer to them as “The Owskis.”
