Grossman joined the cast of the CBS soap opera in May 2019 in the role of Adam Newman. One of the first persons who screen-tested with Grossman was Case. The 34-year-old actor developed a close bond with his co-star, and the two would be paired on-screen as their characters toyed with a romantic reunion.
Upon debuting on "The Young and the Restless," Grossman won over fans, and his leading lady's heart. Viewers took notice of Mark and Sharon's undeniable chemistry on-screen. Grossman sent the hearts of Y&R fans fluttering in September 2019 when he posted an Instagram video of him and Case dancing. The two looked adoringly into each other's eyes as they slow danced. Grossman revved up speculation about his and Case's relationship status when he revealed the dance wasn't part of any upcoming scenes.
Although, the couple kept their relationship private, fans concluded they were dating thanks to Instagram photos. Case shared photos of her and Grossman celebrating their birthdays together along with their trips to Hawaii and Wyoming. With the couple nearing their two-year anniversary, Case decided it was time to confirm their relationship.
During an interview with Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling for the "90210MG" podcast, Case opened up about her Mark. Case revealed that when the show restarted production following the coronavirus pandemic, she told her bosses about their relationship. "I mean, we've never talked about it so bluntly, but I guess the reason why we finally mentioned it to the studio is just so that we wouldn't have to distance in case the show wanted to write us in scenes together," the Daytime Emmy winner explained.

The ladies were all smiles as they feasted on pizza and wine. Case was decked out in jeans and a black tank top for the occasion. But it's the diamond sparkler on her left hand. The comment section was filled with questions on whether Sharon and Mark were engaged.

So far there's been no confirmation from Case or Grossman about an engagement. Given how private they are, it's no surprise if they wanted to keep this quiet. While fans await news about Case and Grossman's real-life relationship, they have something else to look forward to.
The couple's Y&R characters Adam and Sharon could be headed for a romantic reunion. Adam and Sharon or Shadam as they're called by fans is one of "The Young and the Restless" controversial couples. Although their chemistry is off the charts, many fans are split on a reunion between the pair due to Adam's past misdeeds. Despite the controversy, the show continues to tease a possible pairing, which could come sooner rather than later.
