Dove Cameron Revives Belly Knot Trend In Satin Spaghetti Straps

Dove Cameron is rocking crepe-effect and satin spaghetti straps and bringing back the belly knot trend. The 25-year-old actress and singer is currently front-page news for seeing CW series "Powerpuff Girls" forced to re-shoot its pilot, but over on Dove's Instagram, it's business as usual. Posting for her 42.5 million followers last night, the former Disney star dropped her usual whimsical and off-beat photo dump, opening with a look that might just take over Kylie Jenner's famous belly chains. Scroll for the snaps. Dove is now making style headlines for her on-screen Bubbles character in "Powerpuff Girls," one that brings a pastel blue minidress, knee-high socks, and the famous blonde with her hair in pigtails.

Dove, who doesn't always include her face in selfies, yesterday opened with a snap that had her head cut right off. The Emmy winner's photo showed her indoors, by vased roses, and rocking a gold, scrunch-fabric and bralette-style crop top in refined materials and with plenty going on.

While two straps held up the outfit, a third formed a mid-riff band, where Dove had knotted the strings together, drawing attention to her shredded abs and slender waist as she posed rather anonymously. Also included was a shot of the "We Belong" singer channeling the pink hair trend, plus a rare studio video of her recording.

Dove, who has been showing off her pets at home, also took a selfie video of her black cat smooching around. More photos after the snap.

Taking to her caption with a little quote action, Dove wrote: "And the sun and the moon sometimes argue over who will tuck me in at night. if you think I am having more fun than anyone on this planet, you are absolutely correct," quoting Hafiz.

The post, now approaching 1 million likes, quickly brought in a like from Dove's trainer Kirk Myers. The star has been making headlines for her flexible splits and working out at celeb-adored gym chain Dogpound. More photos below.

Earlier this year, Dove was profiled by Nylon, answering quick-fire questions including her twice-a-day iced Starbucks order, plus a fashion question. The Flawless Beauty face was prompted on her favorite shoes, revealing:

"I just got these insane alien stomper boots sent to me by Swear London. They’re vegan leather and they truly look like they shouldn’t exist for another 100 years. I’m trying not to wear them every day. They make me feel like myself."
