This isn’t the first time "90 Day Fiancé" star Rosenbrook has faced allegations of domestic violence. Back in January 2019, Rosenbrook was involved in a disturbing altercation with his wife, Leida, that prompted a police response in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

According to reports and text messages later shared publicly, Leida claimed Eric had pulled her hair so hard it scratched her scalp, grabbed both of her wrists, and physically forced her into a corner during a heated argument. At the time, she also alleged he had grabbed her after she threatened self-harm with a knife.

In an Instagram Live video shared with fans, Rosenbrook confirmed that a fight took place but denied intentionally striking Leida.

He admitted to physically intervening to wrestle a knife away from her, explaining that his “training took over” and he acted on instinct.

“Leida and I had an altercation,” he said. “She was threatening self-harm. I wrestled a knife from her. But my training took over, it triggered my training... and I went too far. Nothing serious was caused, other than emotional trauma, which is severe.”

Rosenbrook acknowledged that in the process of trying to subdue Leida, he may have unintentionally scratched her scalp and admitted to pulling her up by her hair to restrain her.

The reality star went on to admit he "does not excuse how it happened" as he "knows he should've handled that differently."

No charges were filed following the 2019 incident.
