Luann de Lesseps Goes Public With New Boyfriend After Garth Wakeford Split

Luann de Lesseps has a new man in her life.
According to a May 25 report from PEOPLE magazine, the "Real Housewives of New York City" cast member recently struck up a new relationship with former NFL star Radamez Rubio.
Following a split from former boyfriend Garth Wakeford earlier this year, de Lesseps reportedly traveled to Mexico for a vacation, where she ultimately met her current partner.
Page Six shared images of de Lesseps and Rubio kissing in the Hamptons over the weekend.
Luann de Lesseps Is 'Very Happy' With Her New Man

"She met him at the hotel she was staying at in Tulum, which he was managing, and he flew in last week to spend time with her in New York City, Sag Harbor and Connecticut," an insider told PEOPLE of de Lesseps and Rubio, who previously starred as a kicker for the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Stealers.
"Lu is very happy and just having a blast spending time with him and taking him to all her favorite spots now that she's vaccinated and everything is open again in New York City and Hamptons," the source went on.
Luann de Lesseps Is Considering Spanish Lessons

De Lesseps first confirmed her new relationship while appearing on the "Chanel in the City" podcast with Chanel Omari.
"What I'm looking for, actually … I was in Mexico and I met a very cute guy from Mexico. So I would say, I want somebody with a lot of integrity, good manners. Someone who is loyal, someone who worships the ground that I walk on and tall, dark and handsome — and younger," she said at the time.
De Lesseps also said she was considering taking Spanish lessons "because I like this Mexican guy."
Luann de Lesseps Said She Was Single In April

During an interview with PEOPLE magazine in April, de Lesseps confirmed she was back in the dating pool after her breakup from Wakeford.
"I'm single. So, I'm dating, but no one in particular right now," she said at the time, noting that her relationship with Wakeford "started with a sizzle and ended with a fizzle."
Also during the interview, de Lesseps, who has been divorced twice, once in 2009 from Count Alexandre de Lesseps and a second time in 2017 from Tom D'Agostino.
Luann de Lesseps Isn't Opposed To A Third Marriage

"I have been there, done that, but you never say never, right?" she said. "I am a hopeless romantic. I've been married twice and like they say, three times the charm. So, you never know. [But] I'm not opposed to it."
