Four Times Sofia Proved She's Her Dad Lionel Richie's Biggest Fan

This season of "American Idol" is over but 22-year-old Sofia Richie is making sure the Lionel craze goes "All Night Long!"
Their father-daughter social media relationship is one for the ages and is too cute. From showing off her dad's 'fit to Lionel playing creative director for Sofia's photoshoots, you can tell that there is nothing but love, friendship, and admiration between the 71-year-old and his youngest daughter, so we wanted to take a minute to appreciate their heartwarming/funny Instagram antics!

On Sunday, Lionel was sporting an all-white suit for the "American Idol" finale, and Sofia made sure that her 6.6 million followers got a good look at it.
"@lionelrichie fan club," Sofia wrote alongside her finale memories.
The 71-year-old couldn't help but pack himself on the back for looking so good.
"But let’s talk about my fit..... ?????," he jokingly commented on his daughter's post.
Stereotypically, most 22-year-olds do not want their fathers interacting with them on social media at all, but this is a special case!

Lionel believes father knows best when it comes to creative directing... and who are we to say he doesn't?! He's had an amazing career and seems to have learned a few things since his time in the Commodores. He totally took over one of Sofia's photoshoots back in January 2020 and grabbed the camera as she posed in an all-black leather ensemble by Alexander Wang. She gave him a special shoutout for helping out.

The father-daughter combo gets along so well that Sofia calls her doting dad her "twin." She shared a simple selfie back in January at Lionel's $11-million mansion in Beverly Hills. "Twin ? @lionelrichie," she wrote alongside her fun selfies. Lionel shared the snaps to his IG story at the time and captioned them, "Double Trouble."
Lionel teased Sofia for her selfie skills earlier this month when he posted a picture that focused on Sofia and himself while his son, Miles barely made it into the frame. "...I bet you can tell who took this selfie @sofiarichie @milesrichie ???," he joked before Sofia quickly commented, "It’s always me??♀️."
We couldn't talk about all the times that Sofia showed love to her dad without bringing up the sultry XMass dance she did to her father's hit song, "All Night Long." We are bringing it way back to 2017 when Sofia was still dating Scott Disick and he shared a video of the then 19-year-old dancing in her undies. The good news is that she did her part to help promote the classic song, but we are not sure her dad appreciated the garb. They say all press is good press!
The main point is that we totally Stan their cute relationship, and we love to see all the family love on social media!
