Ex-Disney Star Maitland Ward Announces Porn Journey Milestone

Former "Boy Meets World" actress-turned-pornstar, Maitland Ward, has announced what she feels is her greatest "achievement" since entering the adult entertainment industry. The 44-year-old ex-Disney star, who shed her good-girl image as Rachel McGuire for a racier career in 2019, today updated her Instagram with the news that she's releasing a memoir. Maitland took to social media on Wednesday with the proud announcement, with the redhead delighting her 1.6 million followers in the process. Scroll for details of the 2022 release, plus photos.

Speaking to NY Post about the upcoming release, the star revealed:
“I originally wrote some sample chapters, really funny stuff from the porn industry, like what I experienced,” adding: “It feels like a ‘Sex and the City’ kind of thing. I think it’s going to be very conversational.”
Ward confirmed no ghostwriter, with the whole thing penned herself, continuing: "Young women are so excited about just me being sexually unapologetic. That’s what I was most taken aback [by] in this whole journey, of how supportive millennial women have been to me.” Skip the jump for more snaps.
Anyone not consuming Ward's adult content but still missing her on TV has good news. Maitland will be producing and starring in a new series called "The Big Time."
“I want to slay both industries,” she said earlier this year. “I love and embrace both. Me being bold and free in my sexuality and so out there with it has really given me that power. When I was like this innocent flower, I was letting everyone else dictate what I should do or what I should be.”
Ward made 2019 headlines for revealing she can earn up to $62,000 a month from her new-found career. Last year, the star revealed that earnings were actually up on account of the global pandemic. “Actually, I’ve seen upticks in some of my income because people are home and they want entertainment and they want to get away from all the corona stuff," she told The Wrap.
