Jennifer Garner Isn't Bothered By Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez's Relationship

It's been six years since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck split. The couple has since moved on with other people. Affleck has dated TV producer Lindsay Shookus and actress Ana de Armas. But it's his latest relationship that has everyone talking.

Recently, Affleck has been spotted out with his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez. Rumors of a rekindled romance began in May when the two were seen hanging out in Los Angeles. Then days later, they were photographed together on a trip to Montana. Shortly afterwards, reports confirmed that the couple was dating again.

Sparks flew between Affleck and Lopez on the set of their film "Gigli." Following Lopez's divorce from husband Cris Judd, she and Affleck began dating in the summer of 2002. By November 2002, the couple had become engaged, and the media storm surrounding Bennifer began. 

Whether they were walking the red carpet or going out to dinner in Los Angeles, the paparazzi couldn't get enough of the pair. In August 2003, their much anticipated film "Gigli" was released. The movie became a big flop with critics panning it and dismal box office numbers.

But that wasn't the only disaster the couple faced. Just days before their September 14, 2003 wedding, the couple decided to postpone the ceremony. Months later in January 2004, the couple officially ended their relationship. Affleck later revealed that the media scrutiny played a role in the couple's break up.

Shortly after his split with Lopez, Affleck began dating Garner. The two were first spotted together at a Boston Red Sox game. Much like his relationship with Lopez, Affleck met Garner while working on the films "Pearl Harbor" and Daredevil." However, this time around, Ben kept his relationship with Garner on the private side.

A year after they began dating, the couple married in June 2005. Months later Garner gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Violet. They would go on to have two more children, a daughter Seraphina, and son Samuel.

Although, Affleck and Garner seemed to have an ideal marriage, like any couple they had their problems. When Affleck won Best Director and Best Picture for "Argo" as the 2013 Academy Awards, he thanked his wife for continuing to work on their marriage. Affleck's speech was the first hint that not all was well with the two.

In June 2015, the couple announced their divorce. Reports later surfaced that the couple's issues stemmed from Affleck's drinking. Despite their split, the couple remained on friendly terms as they co-parented.

Affleck's reunion with Lopez comes one month after the "Hustlers" actress ended her engagement to MLB player Alex Rodriguez. According to reports, Rodriguez was unhappy with Lopez moving on so fast. The former New York Yankees star held out hope for a reconciliation with his ex-fiancée.

As for what Affleck's ex-wife thinks, well according to reports Garner has no problem with the relationship. Garner isn't bothered by Affleck being with Lopez. She just wants Ben to be happy and to continue to be a good dad to their kids.

Affleck isn't the only one who's rekindling a romance with a past love. Garner has recently gotten back together with her ex-boyfriend John Miller. The 49-year-old "Elektra" star began dating the CaliBurger CEO began dating in October 2018. The two reportedly met through mutual friends and hit it off. 

Garner and Miller kept their relationship private, but were occasionally spotted out together. After two years of dating, the couple split up in August 2020. Garner and Miller remained friends following their break up, and a few weeks ago they decided to give their relationship another shot.
