Shanna Moakler Reacts To Allegations She's An Absentee Mother

Another day and another controversy for Shanna Moakler. The 46-year-old former beauty pageant winner and actress has been in the news a lot recently due to her ex-husband Travis Barker's relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. Ever since Barker and Kardashian went public with their relationship, Moakler has been very vocal with her thoughts on the pair.

Although Moakler claims she has no ill will towards her ex or Kourtney, her actions speak otherwise. Moakler's behavior has earned her criticism not only from fans, but also her children. Now, her children are fighting back with revelations about their mom's lack of parenting skills.

Moakler and Barker seemed like complete opposites when they began dating. However, as seen on their MTV reality series "Meet the Barkers," the two were madly in love with each other. The pair married in October 2004, a year after welcoming their son Landon.

Together with their son and Moakler's daughter Atianna, they became a blended family. In December 2005, they welcomed another child, a daughter named Alabama. However, less than eight months after Alabama's birth, Barker filed for divorce from Moakler.

In the years following the split, the couple would make several attempts at reconciliation. During that time, it was reported the two had verbal confrontations that resulted in the police being called. Their divorce would be finalized in February 2008.

It's been 13 years since Moakler and Barker's divorce. Although both have moved on, Moakler can't seem to let her ex-husband go. The "Pacific Blue" actress has made it clear on how she feels about Travis and Kourtney's relationship.

Shortly after Travis and Kourtney went public, Moakler liked an Instagram comment that implied the Blink-182 drummer downgraded with Kourtney. Aside from that, Moakler also spoke out about Barker and Kourtney's over-the-top PDA "weird."

But Moakler's shade didn't stop there. Recently, the model tried to stir up trouble after she claimed Barker cheated on her with Kourtney's sister Kim Kardashian. Moakler's affair claims come courtesy of her daughter Alabama, who didn't have anything nice to say about her mom.

Two of Travis and Kourtney's biggest defenders are his kids Landon and Alabama. Barker's children love Kourtney, and are happy the two are dating. After Moakler's latest attempt to stir up trouble, 15-year-old Alabama called out her mother on Instagram.

In an Instagram story, Alabama shared a DM in which Moakler claimed Barker had an affair with Kim Kardashian during their marriage. Alabama posted the message along with the caption "My mom has never completely been in my life, can you guys stop painting her out to be an amazing mom. Did your mom ask to see you on Mother's Day cause mine didn't."

Alabama's brother Landon also backed up the allegations about their mother. Last week, a TikTok user criticized Landon for his harsh treatment of his mother. Landon responded to the user by saying, "our mom has never been in our lives and isn't there for us like our dad is."

The trouble between Moakler and her kids seems to have been brewing for a while. In the DM screenshot Alabama shared, Moakler claims that Barker is the one alienating her from her children. Aside from criticizing her for being an absentee mother, Alabama and Landon also had unkind words for Moakler's boyfriend Matthew Rondeau. The kids claim Matthew is awful and cheats on Moakler.

Following Alabama and Landon's allegations, Moakler fought back. Moakler called the accusations "completely rediculous [sic]" in response to an Instagram commenter asking if it was true. Rondeau then came to his girlfriend's defense by calling her an "amazing mom" and that she loves and cares about her family.
