Britney Spears is back with the infamous pink hair, only this time she's not wearing a wig and is comparing her look to a certain famous actress. The Princess of Pop returned to Instagram on Monday after a brief hiatus and treated fans to a photo shoot of her new pink mop.

Britney is also making it clear she did not go pink for commercial purposes, but just decided to take a chance on a different hue and is loving every moment of it.

"No this is not a hair commercial ??‍♀️ … it’s the first time I’ve colored all of my hair a bright color so fuck it … I did as many hair flips that I could!" Britney exclaimed to her near 30 million Instagram followers.

She continued, "Pink is hot if I do say so myself ?????? !!!! Oh and not only did I copy @reesewitherspoon the other day with my throwback looks, but now I’m copying @sarahjessicaparker’s hair tease from Hocus Pocus!! ... I was freaking 11 when that movie came out and I swear she had it right before Sex And The City … it’s all about the hair and the heels, people!

Bella Thorne / Instagram

Britney Spears was not done with her celebrity shoutouts, because she paid major tribute to Bella Thorne with a special message:

"Why do I feel like I’m @bellathorne’s twin with pink hair ???? ?!?!?!"

It did not take long for the post to get back to the "Infamous" star and she quickly took to social media to thank Britney for the special words. Bella first shared Britney's post on her own IG story feed before throwing up some deuces to her fans and declaring:

"Peace out life made."

The connection between Bella Thorne and Britney Spears goes way back, as both got their first taste of fame as childhood Disney stars. Recently, Bella spoke out about the public treatment of Britney and the documentaries about her life.

"It was so sad when I watched it," Thorne said of the doc earlier this year.

She added, "Everything I was looking at made me really, really, really sad knowing that this was happening, knowing that this still happens, knowing that we're all a part of this, that we all did this to her."
