Marie Temara, a 6-foot-3 OnlyFans model known for her famously long legs (and the $10 million a year they earn her), had a terrifying brush with danger during a recent trip to the Bahamas that left her fans gasping.

The 28-year-old OnlyFans star was filming content for her 2.8 million followers when she dangled one leg over the side of a boat near Compass Cay, a hotspot known for its up-close-and-personal nurse shark encounters.

What started as a cheeky stunt for Marie Temara's OnlyFans turned serious when three sharks appeared in the crystal-clear water, swimming within inches of her money-making limbs.

Influencer With Million-Dollar Legs Says 'I Almost Lost A Leg'

"I almost lost a leg," Marie Temara captioned the now-viral footage, which shows her quickly yanking her leg out of the water and dancing nervously as the sharks circled the boat. While she played it cool for the camera, she later admitted, "Inside, I was screaming. Those sharks were literally inches from me."

Though the encounter ended without injury, Temara was keenly aware of the stakes, commenting on her own video, "That was a close call."

"My legs are so important to my career, and so it was lucky everything was okay," she said.

For the record, her legs are worth so much that she has even considered insuring them for their $10 million value, a policy for which she was quoted around $100,000 annually.

The High Cost Of High Risk

Temara says she's made significant lifestyle changes to protect her legs, including quitting basketball and powerlifting.

"I used to play basketball as well, but I've recently stopped ever since starting social media because I don't want to hurt myself," she explained. "I consciously avoid activities that will put me in danger, all of the physical activities that I used to love."

The pressure to maintain perfect legs also stems from online scrutiny. To keep her limbs in peak condition, Marie Temara reportedly spends around $5,000 a month on leg care, a regimen that includes massages, laser hair removal, and even "leg facials."

"My job is on the line," the model explained. "People fantasize about my legs. I need to keep them clean and beautiful for as long as possible."
