Justin Tucker Suffers Fallout From Sexual Misconduct Accusations

Justin Tucker is not catching any breaks, not with his team, and now not with the league either.

The professional football player has been slammed with a lengthy suspension following the outcome of an investigation into serious allegations leveled against him.

Justin Tucker's bouts of allegations reportedly cost him a spot on the Baltimore Ravens team last month, as he will not be playing for the team in the upcoming NFL football season.

Tucker has now been given a 10-week suspension after a league investigation on misconduct allegations from 16 massage therapists between 2012 and 2016 was finalized. The accusers claimed the athlete acted unprofessional during sessions with them in these years.

The suspension was declared by the league on Thursday, taking effect on the day of the roster cutdown, August 26, and also stating that he could be reinstated on November 11.

The NFL announced that the punishment includes no pay for the first week of the 2025 regular season, as the athlete violated the league's personal conduct policy.

This punishment reportedly follows even when Tucker may not be under contract and thus be free to train in training camps and play in preseason games when he secures a team. However, Tucker has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and has issued several statements addressing the allegations. 

According to TMZ, Amanda, his wife, has openly shown her unwavering support for him as he navigates this challenging period.

The Blast reported that Tucker received a crushing blow in his career last month when his team dropped him as their standout kicker. Although the reason was not explicitly stated, the timing coincided with the wake of the allegations.

Ravens' general manager, Eric DeCosta, announced the team's final decision to let Tucker go in an Instagram post. Describing it as an "incredibly difficult" decision, DeCosta expressed that the athlete needed to leave the team due to their current roster. 

The general manager added that the footballer created numerous poignant moments in the team's football history, and it would stay in their memories for a long time. DeCosta praised his "reliability, focus, drive, resilience, and extraordinary talent" that made him a standout in the NFL.

He thanked him on behalf of the team for his many contributions to the Ravens and wished him and his family "the very best in this next chapter of their lives."

The year opened with a bang for the footballer when a Maryland publication ran an article in which six female massage therapists claimed that Tucker had shown unacceptable and inappropriate behavior during massage sessions at luxury spas.

The women said hauntingly similar things, and their experiences involved some of the most disturbing behaviors, like brushing up against them with his exposed genitals. He reportedly sometimes left semen on the massage surface, prompting the therapists to end their sessions prematurely.

Additionally, two massage centers claimed they had prohibited the footballer from entering their premises or using their services.

A therapist who treated Tucker in 2016 said that even after discussing her experience, most people did not believe her and concluded that she was gossiping or making a joke when, on the contrary, it was not, as it was a degrading trauma.

Other therapists shared that Tucker frequently tried to open his pants or inappropriately feel them, claiming that they were able to know when he was trying to do it intentionally. After the initial publication, other therapists came out with more shocking stories about the same NFL player.

Another lady claimed that the footballer maintained intense eye contact during one of their massage appointments.

In another controversial move by Tucker last year, The Blast reported that, just before the 2024 AFC Championship game, a video posted on social media showed Tucker playing catch behind the Kansas City Chiefs players.

In the course of this warm-up, the Chiefs' tight end Kelce noticed that Tucker was overstepping his boundaries right behind Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The tight end then cleared Tucker's sporting gear away from the Chiefs' training area since they were not on the same team.

He addressed the scene much later on his "New Heights" podcast alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, noting that there exists an informal rule in the NFL regarding warming-up procedures.

Kelce emphasized that the law requires respect for each team, allowing them to complete their warm-ups without interference.

He commented that when a person wants to be inconsiderate with the warm-ups, they could then decide to keep their equipment where the quarterbacks are throwing. His fellow, Jason Kelce, stated the same, commenting that such action might be dangerous. 

Travis observed how he and Mahomes were in serious mode before the game and were not ready for cheap pranks from Tucker. He accepted Tucker's actions as an attempt to be funny but emphasized that when a person tries to offend them, they will be more than willing to react in kind.

Following Kelce and Mahomes' reaction to the incident, The Blast shared that Tucker told his side of the story. The 35-year-old clarified that he had no intention of causing any problems during the warm-ups for their football game. 

He recalled Mahomes being unable to squeeze in a couple of drops and asking him to alter his position and also move his helmet. Tucker noted that he happily obliged to move his helmet out of the way and create space for Mahomes to properly warm up, at least to the best of his knowledge.

Kelce, however, saw things differently and tried to fix the situation by kicking Tucker's gears and tossing his helmet from Mahomes' section of the field.

Tucker took the kick in good spirits and assumed it was all in good fun, but he felt Mahomes and Kelce were taking the matter more seriously than he meant it to be.
