Breaking a world record could seem like a dream to many people. What nobody ever talks about, though, is what you do after you break the record.

In a very candid interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", Billie Eilish talked about her reaction to breaking the world record for the fastest Instagram post to reach a million likes. The singer admits that it's going to be hard for her to post anything on social media moving forward. Since topping her own success looks to be virtually impossible.

The posts in question come from the photoshoot that Eilish had with the British Vogue Magazine. She'll be on the cover of the magazine for the June edition. Eilish had ditched the green highlights on her dark hair for a full blonde look for a little bit now.

That combination of the full blonde hair and the vintage outfit that they had her wear was too much to bear for so many Instagram users. Who, just couldn't help themselves and had to smash the like button.

As she kept posting the pictures from the photoshoot on Instagram she continued to break her own records. This experience was just surreal for Eilish. She described the moment to Colbert saying,

"It was so weird the day those pictures came out because I would post one and then I'd see, 'Billie Eilish has broken the record for the fastest picture ever liked,' and then I would post another one and it would say, 'Billie Eilish just broke the other record she just broke with the new fastest picture ever liked,' "

After the major success from her Vogue cover, Eilish is trying to figure out where to go from here. She mentioned to Colbert:

"I feel like I wanted to post more when less people cared. And now that more people care, it's like scary to me. But it's amazing!"

It seems like she's going "miss the chase" as they say. Eilish went as far as to say that she doesn't want to post anything on social media anymore. Out of fear that she won´t be able to replicate her success.

The Instagram record is just one in a long list of records that Eilish happens to hold. As of February 3, 2021, these are some of the records that Billie Eilish held according to Insider.

She is the first person born in the 21st century to have a song and album hit number one on the Billboard list. That's a milestone that won't be topped. Of course, she has a ton of records at the Grammy's like being the youngest person to win the album of the year. While also being the youngest to be nominated for all 4 major categories and then winning all of them! Let's hope that success isn't scary as well!
