Arnold Schwarzenegger still has nothing but love for Miley Cyrus, even if her romance with his son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, is long over.
Miley and Patrick were first linked in November 2014 after being spotted kissing at a USC vs. Cal football game in Los Angeles.
Patrick Schwarzenegger's relationship with Miley Cyrus quickly became public, with paparazzi capturing their PDA-filled moments, from ringing in New Year’s together with a sweet kiss to vacationing in Hawaii just weeks later.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Gushes Over Miley Cyrus

While the chapter between Patrick and Miley has closed, Arnold has no hard feelings against Cyrus.
During a candid appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" Monday night, the 77-year-old action star opened up about his thoughts on the "Party In The U.S.A." artist.
“She’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being,” Schwarzenegger told host Andy Cohen. “She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there, and she was just a wonderful house guest. We just all loved her.”
“She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with,” the "Terminator" star continued. “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with and he’s getting married to in September.”
Patrick Schwarzenegger Called Miley Cyrus His Crush Years Before They Dated

Before they became one of Hollywood’s most unexpected couples in 2014, Patrick Schwarzenegger had his eyes on Miley Cyrus for years, literally.
Back in May 2011, a 17-year-old Patrick said, “My eye is set on Miley.”
Fast forward to November 2014, when the two were photographed kissing at a USC football game, confirming what fans had been speculating.
According to insiders at Us Weekly, the duo had been friends for years, moving in the same social circles. “She thinks he’s hot, she thinks he’s cool. Patrick is a nice good guy,” a source revealed. “He’s grown up in Hollywood just like her and it was only a matter of time before they hooked up.”
Miley And Patrick's Red Carpet Love Affair Defined A Hollywood Moment

Their romance quickly heated up.
Throughout early 2015, the couple was spotted frequently, whether attending red carpet events, brunching beachside in Malibu, or cozying up at a Grammys afterparty. They officially confirmed their relationship on Valentine’s Day by posting selfies together on Instagram. Patrick captioned his photo, “Luckiest guy in the world,” while Miley gushed, “Life couldn’t get any better.”
While their relationship was short-lived, it was a quintessential mid-2010s Hollywood moment, two nepo babies, raised in the limelight, falling in love under the ever-watchful eye of the paparazzi. And for Patrick, it was a real-life crush that turned into reality.
Patrick Schwarzenegger And Miley Cyrus Have Both Moved On With Lasting Love

While their whirlwind romance may be in the rearview mirror, both Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus have since found love with partners who bring out the best in them.
Cyrus was previously married to "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth from 2018 until their divorce in 2020. Since 2021, she’s been romantically linked to drummer Maxx Morando, and the two have kept their relationship relatively private while continuing to support each other’s careers.
Schwarzenegger moved on with model Abby Champion, whom he began dating in September 2015. The couple announced their engagement in December 2023 and are currently preparing to say "I do."
In a February 2025 interview with PEOPLE, "The White Lotus" actor gushed about his fiancée, revealing that it was her strong sense of family and shared values that won him over.
“Over the course of the years, I just continuously fell in love with her more and more, with the kind of human that she was becoming and that the relationship was becoming,” he shared.
Patrick Schwarzenegger Postponed His Wedding For 'White Lotus'

During a March appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," Patrick revealed that he and Champion decided to delay their wedding after he landed his breakout role as Saxon Ratliff on "The White Lotus."
“Finally, a year and a half ago, we got engaged. And it was our moment, it was this great thing,” he said at the time. “And a few days later, I booked 'White Lotus,' and I was like, ‘Abby, I know we’re in this high of engagement, and we’re gonna get married this year. But we’re going to have to push it. I got 'White Lotus,' and I’m going to film for the next seven months in Thailand.’”
Despite having to postpone the wedding, Champion “was so happy" for her fiancé. "She was ecstatic because she was a huge fan,” he added.
