Yay! Porsha Williams is engaged. But is it yay though?

The reality star recently confirmed that her new man and fiancé is none other than her co-star, Falynn Guobadia’s ex-husband, Simon. Talk about a shocking news!

For many years, fans watched Williams entangle herself in an unstable relationship with Dennis McKinley, who cheated on her while she was pregnant.

Nevertheless, it’s a good thing that she’s finally moving on, but this big engagement news not only took her fans by surprise, they’re riddled with mixed feelings.

The American TV personality was born in Atlanta Georgia, USA on June 22, 1981. Career-wise, Williams has been all over the place, but she took great interest in being a reality star in 2012, when she joined “RHOA.”

She also starred in TV series like “Dish Nation,” “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” “Platinum Weddings” and so on.

The 35-year-old also has several business ventures that she began since 2005, thanks to a degree in business information technology from the American InterContinental University.

Presently, Williams is a mom to two-year-old Pilar Jhena McKinley, which she shares with former fiancé, Dennis McKinley.

In 2009, Williams met now former American football quarterback player, Kordell Stewart. The pair dated for a few years until they said “I do” in 2011.

The following year, Williams began featuring on “RHOA,” and fans witnessed first-hand, how the couple drifted apart and eventually got divorced.

Following their split, the reality star began a relationship with her baby daddy, McKinley. The union seemed to be going well, until a report confirmed that McKinley cheated on Williams while she was pregnant with his daughter.

Williams and McKinley tried to work on their relationship, all to no avail.

For a moment, fans thought that Williams was finding it difficult to walk out of her unhealthy relationship with McKinley.

However, the star has always said that the decisions she makes in her personal life, are by thinking about what’s best for her daughter. 

Speaking about decisions, Williams shocked the entire “RHOA” fan base recently, when she revealed her engagement to Simon Guobadia.

She noted that they started seeing each other four weeks back and are so in love with one another. She also pointed out that she decided to choose happiness every day, and that started with Simon.

A month ago, another “RHOA” star, Falynn, took to her Instagram page to disclose that she was getting divorced from her husband, Simon.

Although Williams revealed on Instagram that Falynn and Simon’s relationship was over before she came into the picture, fans are concerned that she may not be telling the truth.

Some users slammed the reality star for taking advantage of her friendship with Falynn to get to her husband, and others commented on how messy the situation looked. 

“No longer team Porsha. This is messy she was your friend though,” a Twitter user wrote.
