One expert dubbed it a "bloodbath" and a confirmation that working with the couple is toxic.

Another hinted that some of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's past work and personal decisions might have forced these staff to "look elsewhere."

After a fresh wave of resignations hit Harry and Meghan's team, renewed speculation about the couple's workplace environment is swirling.

The Sussexes suffered the loss of Los Angeles-based deputy press secretary, Kyle Boulia, U.K. press officer, Charlie Gipson, and two other individuals in recent weeks, with the first two barely spending more than a year on the job before quitting.

Now, British royal expert Hilary Fordwich has characterized the turnover as a "bloodbath," claiming it confirmed that working with the couple is toxic, as suggested by previous reports.

"This stands as another indication of the dysfunction and instability within their household," she told Fox News Digital about the royal duo.

"Highly qualified professionals from many top-notch firms have previously struggled to thrive under the Sussexes," Fordwich added. "This latest bloodbath serves as solid confirmation."

Another expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, revealed that the number of people who have left the employment of Harry and Meghan was closing in on two dozen. He also speculated on why these individuals were leaving.

"There are those who would link this to the reputation Meghan has of being difficult to work with," the royal expert shared. "There could be another reason - the Sussexes are often dreadful at making plans."

Reflecting further on the staff shakeup, Fitzwilliams referenced past work and personal decisions made by the couple that may have inspired their staff to "look elsewhere."

"On the one hand, it was always clear that a series like 'Polo' for Netflix would flop. Yet, they still went ahead. On the other hand, it is most unlikely that Harry took advice before he appeared on the BBC [in May] after he lost his case on security," he said.

"I would [also] love to know who advised them that it made sense to post the 'twerking video,'" Fitzwilliams added, referring to the viral dancing video of a pregnant Meghan, shot just before she gave birth to Princess Lilibet.

More Changes Expected In The Future

Despite the massive shakeup, more is expected to come in the future. "Something tells me there will be another change in the future," an insider shared with Hello Magazine!

"Meghan and Harry have hired some of the most incredible people at the top of their fields, yet somehow none of them ever work out," the source added.

But for now, it appears that it would be a case of more people coming in than going out, as suggested by Meredith Maines, the chief communications officer to Harry and Meghan, who is overseeing the revamp.

"As the duke and duchess's business and philanthropic interests grow, I have made the strategic decision to move toward a more traditional communications structure of specialist agency support, as previously reported in Forbes and PR Week several weeks ago," Maines said in a statement earlier in the month, per People Magazine.

"Transitioning from a team of two to an agency support staff of eight, operating across five different time zones, will give international media and stakeholders better access, and critically, faster response times to inquiries," she further remarked.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Were Absent Once Again From Trooping The Colour

Amid the changes to their staff, Harry and Meghan were absent from Trooping the Colour after reportedly not being invited to the annual military parade held to celebrate King Charles' official birthday.

The last time the pair attended the event was in 2022, during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. Even then, they weren't permitted on the main royal balcony and instead watched from a separate area reserved for non-working royals.

In light of the exclusion, royal commentator Richard Eden claimed the decision not to invite the duo to the event and other similar ones spotlights the deepening rift between Harry and other senior royals.

"With Harry and Meghan, we've always had a sort of 'will they, won't they' before every big royal occasion," but "the palace has tackled this this time by just not inviting them at all. So, you know, it's significant," Eden said, per the Daily Mail.

Meghan and Harry's exclusion from the 2025 Trooping the Colour for the third consecutive year comes weeks after the duke publicly expressed a desire to reconcile with his father.

In a May interview with the BBC, Harry opened up about his strained relationship with the royal family after losing his final bid for taxpayer-funded security in the U.K.

"There have been so many disagreements between me and some of my family," he said, adding that he had now "forgiven" them.

He continued: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile."
