Emma Watson Sparks Complaints In Plunging Bikini On Caribbean Beach

Emma Watson is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise. While she rose to fame as a child star, she has since graduated from college and lent her voice to important causes, such as concern for the environment and global warming.

However, her pro-environment stance made her a target for some netizens, who accused her of not being very eco-friendly while she was jetting around the world on vacation.

The actress has been widely recognized as an environmentalist and has put a focus on sustainable fashion, making sure to promote ethical and eco-friendly practices within the fashion industry. She’s often worked with designers to create sustainable red carpet looks that usually contain recycled or organic materials.

She has used her social media channels and public appearances in order to encourage other customers to shop responsibly and shop from eco-friendly brands whenever possible. She also highlighted environmental concerns while working as the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, in addition to her work on gender equality.

The photos, which were taken in 2021 in Barbados, feature the actress rocking a tight burgundy bikini as she soaked up the summer sun. This put Emma at the age of 31 at the time. Although she seemed to be enjoying her time out of the spotlight, fans couldn't help but find something to criticize.

Many of the negative comments slammed her for being an environmentalist while still traveling around the world on vacation on what they assumed to be a private jet. "Emma 'private jet' Watson the Eco warrior, do as I say, not as I do," one comment picked up by The Daily Mail read. It received over 70 likes.

"I thought she was too busy saving the world and telling us, mere peasants, how to live to go on holiday.......wok little $ nowfl@Ke," another comment that got over 80 likes read.

Over 260 likes went to a comment that read: "For someone who preaches about climate change, she does like to travel a lot! She spent all of last year jet setting around the globe on holiday whilst the rest of us were locked down!"

As The Blast previously reported, things were not always great on the set of the “Harry Potter” film series. During the filming of the fourth movie in the franchise, “The Goblet of Fire,” Daniel revealed that they used to argue about everything, from politics to religion.

“I remember one of the big arguments we had on the fourth film – we didn’t speak to each other for a couple of days – was about… She was arguing about the Latin language, that nobody knows what it sounds like, what a Latin accent should be,” he recalled. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, but it’s still spoken a lot in the Catholic church.’”

“Such a wacky argument, looking back, and it got totally out of hand,” he added, advising anyone who wanted to get into an argument with her to “know your sh-t.”

In the HBO “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” special that debuted on New Year's Day in 2022, Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, and Emma had a candid talk about their trouble dealing with their newfound fame.

Emma admitted that she was “scared” of her new fame growing up, saying, “I don’t know if you ever felt like it got to a tipping point where you were like, this is kind of forever now.”

“The fame thing had finally hit home in a big way,” she added. Although she wasn’t sure if she wanted to stay on the franchise to complete the series, she decided to continue due to the fans who “genuinely wanted” her “to succeed.”
