Although the 37-year-old was able to hold back tears on stage, the floodgates opened once she was back home with her loved ones. Jessie shared the vulnerable moment with fans in a statement uploaded on her Instagram Stories.
Per People Magazine, she recalled going to an intimate dinner with friends before heading home to spend quality time with her two-year-old.
"While the house is dark and everyone is asleep, I've unpacked my bags, done some house chores, washed Sky's cup and put the washing away," she recounted. "Now I'm sitting in Sky's room just staring at him. Having a needed a well-earned cry. Happy and scared tears."
In a follow-up frame, she joked that she hoped Sky wouldn't wake up because her tears might scare him. Jessie and basketballer Chanan Colman welcomed the bundle of joy in May 2023.

Jessie first shared the devastating news of her breast cancer battle in a June 3 post. She confessed that the shocking diagnosis came in April, shortly after releasing her first comeback track in four years.
"I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I’m highlighting the word 'early.' Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding onto the word early," she said in the clip. "I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period."
She addressed the timing of the illness, saying it wasn't planned. "To get diagnosed with this, as I'm putting out a song called No Secrets, right before a song called Living My Best Life, which was all pre-planned, before I found out about this. I mean, you can't make it up," she explained.
The songwriter then joked she was getting a "boob job," confirming she would undergo surgery. "I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t-ts and more music," she vowed.
Jessie J Gets Candid About Her 'Worst Day'

Although the 37-year-old has remained positive throughout this difficult phase, she recently got candid about her struggles.
"Had my worst day so far yesterday since my diagnosis and the busiest 3 months I have had in years," she confessed in an emotional Instagram Stories post.
Jessie admitted to feeling "panic attacks, tears, big fears, anger" about balancing motherhood, career, and life alongside her illness. However, she was able to overcome the sad wave by snacking on a corn cob.
