Christine Brown doubles down how her relationship with Kody Brown changed once his favorite wife appeared.
The "Sister Wives" star has been vocal about her plural marriage falling apart after her ex-husband tied the knot with Robyn Brown in 2014. She recently revealed that their dynamic changed significantly, even in the bedroom.
Christine Brown was the first of four wives to leave the polygamous marriage in late 2021, followed by wives Janelle and Meri Brown. The trio has each accused Kody of playing favorites with Robyn, claiming his love for her played a key role in their divorces.
Christine Brown's Intimacy With Kody Brown Turned Cold Thanks To Robyn Brown

Christine got candid about her sex life with Kody on TLC's "Sister Wives: One on One" segment. She told host Suki Krishnan that she initially enjoyed a fulfilling, intimate life with her ex-husband until he fell in love with Robyn and brought her into the family.
The TV personality claimed that by the time she realized something was missing in her intimate sessions with Kody, the damage had already been done. Her heart did not beat for him like it used to, with Christine declaring, "At that point… it was already so almost over anyway."
PEOPLE reported that she claimed Kody had stopped putting effort into their relationship, stressing that their sex life lacked "true intimacy." Additionally, Christine shared that she had become independent because she was no longer being taken care of "emotionally, romantically, physically, [or] financially."
Sex Became 'An Act' For The Former Couple

While reflecting on the change in her sexual relationship with Kody, Christine declared that sex became "just an act" as their bedroom sessions weren't motivated by emotions. She noted the former couple simply satisfied their needs, saying:
"Well, 'used' is a word, but maybe he felt used too. Like maybe we would just use each other. It didn't mean anything."
Christine believed she and Kody became "apathetic" in the final years of their marriage, noting it was sad how their sex life went from fulfilling to becoming an obligation. Eventually, they had a conversation about their declining intimacy, with Kody allegedly telling Christine he was done having her in his bed.
How Robyn's Arrival Made Christine Feel Left Out

Before her candid reflection on her sex life with Kody, The Blast reported that Christine had recalled the negative impacts of Robyn's arrival on her plural union. She confessed to feeling left out in the marriage, noting her ex-husband showed blatant favoritism.
"I felt like Robyn had a better couch. I felt like she had better dishes and better decorations, and like so many things," she shared in an April episode of her reality TV series. Christine claimed that while Robyn got the good stuff, she was left with scraps of Kody's time and other items.
She recalled the family's camping trips, noting she and Janelle were responsible for cooking and cleaning the mess while Robyn spent hours on her makeup. Christine claimed that when she finally appeared, Kody made the other wives feel insecure by repeatedly complimenting Robyn's looks.
Kody Brown Has No Problem With His Ex-Wife's New Husband

Early this month, The Blast shared that Kody addressed his relationship with Christine's new husband, David Woolley. He claimed the latter appeared decent, noting he believed they could become pals and even go on double dates.
The Brown family's patriarch added that their conversations incited the desire to go on a guy's trip with Woolley because he enjoyed his company. However, Kody confessed that he never told the other man about his plans because he suspected Christine would disapprove of their bonding.
Contrary to his worries, Christine clarified that she was not against an amicable relationship between her husband and Kody. Woolley echoed similar sentiments; however, he noted that a possible friend with the TV personality would require a few rules and boundaries.
Christine Brown Isn't Ready For Double Dates With Her Ex-Husband

Although Christine approved of Woolley's friendship with Kody, she hesitated to jump on the double date suggestion. She confessed that she was nervous about spending time with her ex-husband and his only remaining wife, Robyn.
The reality TV star added that she was uncomfortable with the pair because she believed Kody did not understand her or her feelings. She also did not appreciate his past comments about her. Christine has changed since leaving Kody in 2021 and marrying Woolley.
In December 2023, she credited her monogamous relationship for inspiring her newfound confidence and happiness in a heartwarming post. Christine revealed she initially feared losing her independence when she married Woolley, but their fantastic relationship dispelled all her worries.
