Miley Cyrus is ready to bear it all on her family's years-long feud!

The singer became the glue who restored her family's bond, and while everything seemed bright on the surface, a lot of work went on in the background, which she would address in a new project.

Miley Cyrus and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, alongside sister Noah Cyrus and her mother, Tish Cyrus, all got estranged after the family patriarch divorced their mom in 2022.

During her appearance on Monica Lewinsky's "Reclaiming" podcast, Miley revealed that she will be spilling all the deets on her family drama on her next album, dropping the title of one track, "Secrets."

The singer confirmed that the song reflects a heartfelt desire for her father to feel safe enough to disclose the painful truths that have affected their family.

Following a decade of drama, Miley successfully mended relationships within her "messy" family without the help of a therapist, humorously remarking on the challenges that would have arisen getting everyone to cooperate.

"Just to get each other into a room to get to counseling would have been a war," Miley exclaimed. Despite these challenges, Miley's latest visual album, "Something Beautiful," coincided with her efforts to repair family ties, proving the entire point of the album title.

The singer believes burdens like "emotional hoarding" can make it overwhelming to address the mess after a long period. In her journey towards healing her family, Miley emphasized the importance of rebuilding communication, dedicating a significant part of her year to this process.

She approached the situation by fostering happiness and joy between herself and her parents first, believing that a positive atmosphere would facilitate deeper conversations later.

"I just kind of busted through the pile that stacked and just [went], 'I'm here, you're here, let's start by having a good time together, and then as we start bringing some happiness and joy into each other's life, then we'll be in a better place to have these conversations," the actress shared.

So, rather than opting for counseling, Miley noted that she preferred to create balance in their relationship. She expressed a desire for others to appreciate her way of functioning and perhaps emulate it.

Although she experienced some upheavals in her journey, including relapses during the pandemic, the vocalist now views those experiences clearly, acknowledging that they were part of her personal growth.

The 32-year-old mentioned that she felt she was starting over in 2020 as she recommitted to her sobriety. She shared her mantra during this time: "Don't get furious, get curious," encouraging self-reflection instead of self-criticism.

"Everyone has to do what's best for them. I don't have a problem with drinking, I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past that level."
